All the stars! Javi’s narration was perfect!!

All the stars. Very sensitive topics, you will cry, you will be angry but you will also swoon, laugh, and fall in love with Max and Luke’s beautiful love story.
I wish I could write a full essay on how to convince everyone to read this but I’m still feeling a bit emotional.
I loved this story and I loved these characters as if they were part of my family.

Loved this story

Sports romance with a brutal twist. Max, drugged and raped at a party with no clue who did it or what exactly happened. Max and Luke are perfect for eachother. Narration is absolutely perfect. The bonus Prologue is a must listen. its heartbreaking.

Absolutely could not stop listening!

This was done perfectly and I loved every second of listening to Max and Luke!

Maxy and Luke♥️

This was a reread for me and I loved Max and Luke the first time I read this but listening to this story was definitely a different experience. I loved how much emotion the narrators had and it made me love this book more than I already do.
That bonus prologue definitely made me emotional. While this is a sweet story it also deals with heavy elements, SA and PTSD. I will always hold Max and Luke close to my heart ♥️

Absolutely adored 🥰

Max and Luke 🥹🥺 ugh their story was fun and sad at times. What I would give 🥺🥺🥺 I loved seeing Luke and Max’s relationship develop and Mac regaining his confidence and control. And Luke being Luke was what Max needed. I loved everything about them and I loved the Carter and Zeke cameo, so precious and glad to see Carter’s grumpy self - especially when it came to max as well. Their friendship is fun and I loved that they’re keeping in touch. I also loved seeing Max open up to his coach. It was nice seeing more of the relationship the coach has with his players. I cannot wait for the next book!

Great Story

The story was great, the main characters were very lovable. The best thing about this is the narration. Liam did good but Javi Wilder did phenomenal! He’s becoming one of my favorite male narrators.

Where are the CWs???

This book was so unexpected after the first book in this series. This story needs ALL of the content warnings. It was so very hard to listen to what happened to this lovely character. And the second prologue? WTF? It was super tough to hear and ended with "Audible hopes you enjoyed this program." No, Audible, I did not enjoy having my heart ripped out and killing my HEA warm-fuzzies.

Look - this is a well-done story and it's an important kind of story to tell. The extra bow on top of the HEA was just a bit unbelievable (although appreciated). BUT - it was so painful to get to the HEA and readers need to understand what they will be getting into. If you have any kind of history of SA, you need to know that this is a central issue in this story, Going right back to the painful start after the HEA was also a sour note so be warned of that too.

I loved these characters. I want all good things for them. I just....I wish I would have known what I was getting into before I started down this road.

Love this book!

I read this book last year and instantly fell in love with Max and Luke 💕 This book breaks my heart and puts it back together again. Luke is perfect. The way he is there for Max, his flirty banter, his ruthless protection. And Liam and Javi were perfect narrators! Everything I listen to with them is exceptionally done. Must read and/or listen! And the bonus prologue…I need Marcos’ story now. I need to know why he doesn’t like to be touched and who will cure him of this!

There should really be trigger warnings in the summary

Good story and narration but they hit you with the “traumatic event” right at the beginning of the book and, after the first book, it’s very unexpected. There should really be some kind of content/trigger warnings.
