I really enjoyed this book. A couple spots of over explaining or repetition but not bad. The heroin has a backbone and a brain. The hero makes mistake but isn't a complete asshole. I liked the narrator and that the story kept moving. Good ending, I am excited to read the next book.

I'm intrigued enough to read the next one...
So this is the first book I have read by Jessica Wayne and I think I'm going to grab the next audiobook. The world building was a little sparse for my liking but hopefully this will be rectified in the next book. I did have a few other complaints BUT still.....there was something interesting enough here that I want to know what happens.
As for the narrator, I enjoyed their performance but I almost spit out my tea at the first sexy scene :) I did not expect the narrator to moan like that LOL!!!! You've been warned

Enjoyable
I listened to this book on Audible, and I enjoyed it. I like the beginning of this series, the way the characters are described, and the story plot. So far, the story has piqued my interest, and I plan to continue listening. I can't wait to start the next book!
