Like Thanksgiving or Halloween, Saturnalia has become a purely American holiday despite its pagan roots; and nearly everyone, rich or poor, forgets their troubles for a moment.

For Nina, Saturnalia is simply a cruel reminder of the night that changed everything for her. But when she gets a chance call from Max, one of the Saturn Club's best-connected members and her last remaining friend, the favor he asks will plunge her back into the Club's wild solstice masquerade, on a mysterious errand she cannot say no to.

Pretty good

I liked the world building and concepts Feldman incorporated into her setting. I liked the alchemy and pagan pantheons, occultism and social collapse, but the characters felt flat and not very relatable.

Such an amazing book!

The title says it all. But this book was amazing. Everything I’m looking for. 10/10 would recommend

this is an amazing mix of Fantasy, magical realism, eco-scifi and horror.

I have never actually been scared by a book before!!
Steven King, move over this is how to evoke anxiety. the mix of the beautifully vibrant yet horrifying world and unnerving antagonist left me breathless. the beautiful writing and story kept me listening.

this is sooo good. absolutely give this a listen!!

the narrator is a bit generic but absolutely serviceable, and if anything let's the writing shine through instead of her performance.
