It can’t be over

I absolutely adore this book. I did not want it to be over the voices were great. I love the story I laughed. Oh, and I cried a little.
Thank you so much for writing it. Thank you for picking up the people that narrated it. I don’t think it would’ve been the same if you hadn’t heard that woman’s voice.

Cute story, bad narration

The story itself is entertaining and filled with the affable characters, humor, and spice I’ve come to associate with Tessa Bailey’s books. The audiobook kind of put a damper on my enjoyment though. I thought the female narrator did a decent job. However, I swear I could hear the male narrator’s disdain for the romance genre in his voice. He sounded like he was just going through the motions, and his bland recitations of passionate moments is particularly criminal.

Great Story

I have listened to only a few of her stories. I loved this one. I laughed quite a bit. narration is good but I would put the speed at 1.25 or 1.30. The female character is funny. I did not read the 1st book of this series. This can be read as a standalone. Not disappointed and will definitely listen again. 😊

Great romance

Really enjoyed this book. The way the relationship developed, the sexy scenes, the sister relationship. Both narrators did a great job.

She is just so slow

This main character is just so slow. How can you want to go back to a relationship that you don’t feel excited about. Don’t you think if your ex wanted you back he would be the main person texting and calling. He hasn’t even emailed you and your like I’m going to go back. At this point I’d even like you for the MMC. Like can’t you tell he’s been cheating on you, the ex that is.

story & female narrator are great...

Hayden Bishop does a great job inhabiting the character of an aristocratic Southern beauty queen on a journey of self-discovery. Tyler Donne has a great voice, but seems to be merely reading aloud, not narrating a story, very robotic delivery.
