Steve Coulter, known from numerous television and film roles, provides a poignant interpretation of the multigenerational cascade of human drama resulting from one young girl’s attempt to bridge a religious divide and battle small-town prejudice. Richards’ work, which he says was set in motion by the story of his own grandmother, is ultimately a tale of forgiving without ever forgetting.

Phenomenal book
I couldn’t stop listening to this book. The characters and the writing wrap you up like extra layers on a cold day. I honestly didn’t want the book to end. The narrator was incredible and now I want to look for other books he’s narrated.
