Helpful to put in words the Toxic workplace

Describes the true personas of toxic leaders and narcissists. And how as an employee can be twisted into compromise until they break.

A Life Saver

This is an amazing book. I believe that it will resonate specifically with a certain temperament more than others. All can really benefit, but I believe people that are particularly empathetic will really find comfort in this book. At times, I find it difficult to identify and then describe toxic behavior because it is so foreign and difficult to understand. This book gives meaning to my experience and I suspect that of many others.

It gives hope, and reminds us to focus on strengthening ourselves, which I believe to be especially good advice. You never know when you will run into a toxic or dysfunctional person. But with helpful tools to identify and deal with them, we are that much more empowered to handle them effectively, while still being our best selves.

I better go, my toxic boss is around the corner!

A good read for those in a toxic workplace

This book provided good relatable examples of what toxic behaviors people are experiencing in their workplace. We are all in it together, except when we are not. This book will help you articulate some of the problems you are facing at work and the author provides some solutions of what you can do to overcome the all too common challenge of working with toxic people or in a toxic workplace.

Kind of disappointing

A lot of discussion about the problems but relatively little practical info to help resolve/learn to deal with those problems.
