The Ritchie sisters have done it again. This book continues the saga of Lilly and Loren. It is gripping, full of love and heartache. In this book you get a better understanding of Lilly's addiction. This is a must read for anyone reading this series.

When I was reading the series, I remember there being comments on how you could skip this 1.5 novella.
I disagree!!! This part of the series is such a turning point for so many reasons. Do not skip! I repeat, do NOT skip!

I love Ricochet. I love this narrator. I love Ryke. I love Lo.

Highly recommend this series and this audiobook!

Ok story. Not my fave in the series.

Richochet bridges the gap between Addicted to You (book 1) and Addicted for Now (book 2). It spans the 90-day period that Lily and Lo are separated while Lo is in rehab for alcoholism and Lily seeks therapy for sex addiction.

There isn’t a lot of action in this book, which makes it seem on the longish side. We do get to know Daisy, Lily’s younger sister. It’s nice to have a window into her daredevil nature that comes into play in later books. Ryke reeks with disapproval of Lily, which is a shame since she’s already feeling extremely insecure. He’s a bit of a one-dimensional character here. Rose proves again what a fearsome, awesome sister she is.

The reason for Lily’s addiction to sex has been a mystery, and it’s only in the last chapter of the book that we get close to the source. It’s also addressed in later books, though, so reading this book isn’t vital to enjoying the series. However, diehard fans are going to want to spend as much time with the Calloway/Hale/Meadows crew as they can.

Erin Mallon slays the narration once again. All bow to the audiobook queen.

A crucial book in the series!

Would you consider the audio edition of Ricochet to be better than the print version?

I really need this series to become a TV series and the Audiobooks took me a little close to that. It is awesome.

What did you like best about this story?

So many amazing moments, the therapy sessions, the beggining of Raisy!!! Coballoway bits, seeing how strong Lily is in these months without Lo and how sweet he is with her now.

Which character – as performed by Erin Mallon – was your favorite?

She is Lily, so... I actually loved the narrator's performance, she's done the book justice once again.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The part when Lily is in terapy and she finds out why she is an addict is so amazing, so important and crucial for this series! Krista and Becca Ritchie actually speak to us on a emotional level.

I think we all can relate to the characters in a way and seeing them grow and heal together is pretty amazing.

Perfect Combo of a Great Narrator and a Great Book

What did you love best about Ricochet?

I love the story a lot! I had read the book before, but had forgotten so much about it, so it was fun to relive it all and hear Erin's take on these character's intonations and reactions.

What did you like best about this story?

The way Lily grows in this story is remarkable and the bigger emphasis on the side characters, who later become the main characters in their own books, is really awesome. I love how Erin narrate's Lily's monologues, because she makes Lily as impatient and nervous as she is, but also really endearing and awkward, yet lovable.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene has to be Lily's Vow Day. It shows how much she has grown and the strong friendship bonds she has made. As a girl with previously only one friend, not much of contact with her family, she has come so far and these friendships were like the cherry on cake flavored Lily Calloway's Character Growth.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes! I almost did.

This series is seriously epic! I hope you give it a go. The combination of Erin and the Ritchie twins? You won't want to miss this! Can't wait to dive into Addicted For Now *clicks play*

While I was apprehensive about what this book would deliver, I am pleased with the progress these characters are making in their respective lives. I feel like I am beginning to connect with Lily and I am hopeful for continued progress. Character development continues as Lily and Lo both work through their addictions and I am anxious for the next installment.

Favorite everything!

Erin Mallon is such a great pick for Lily, she captivates her perfectly + she does amazing voices for the rest of the characters as well - even the guys! She's become my favorite narrator, and it's only fitting she's narrating my favorite character in my favorite series :D

I really do love this series with all my heart, and would recommend it to anyone - the entire series, audio or otherwise. And especially if you're like me and enjoy real and flawed, but still completely lovable characters, and love watching as they grow and work through their struggles - together. It's heavy and emotional, and so incredibly gratifying when they come out on top. To break up all the underlying heavy, there is of course also lots of banter, fun and awkward moments sprinkled everywhere. Lily's inner monologue is pretty priceless :D

Lo and Lily

Excellent book. Excellent series. The narrator did a great job and the books are addictive! I can't wait for the next book /Audible book.

This was my first time reading and listening to this book.

I don't exactly have a whole lot to say about this book right now. I think I mainly found this book rather sad with seeing the struggle Lilly and Lo are going through with being apart and with their addictions. I am really happy that they are getting help and are changing for the better. I do feel like both Ryke and Lo have realized just how serious her addiction is after seeing her struggle with keeping things under control. I know that they are aware of it, but being aware and then seeing it and what it does to her is another matter. I know Lo has seen and dealt with her addiction in person, but I'm not sure if he was really aware of just how serious it was since he was drinking alcohol every single day. I am also happy to see Ryke growing to like Lilly and to care about her.
I'm not really too surprised about the reason for what started her addiction, but it is sad. Especially with the fact that it went so far that she started seeking sex to fill that void. I understood that her relationship with her parents was rather strained, especially with her mother. But in this book, I really started to despise her mother. Especially with how she treated her daughters. I do wonder though, is Rose right that her mother is in an unhappy marriage? Why is she so harsh and strict with her daughters? Can't she see that because of her actions and words, that she has pretty much messed up her children? Why isn't their father aware of this? He was literally there in the same room during their argument, but he did nothing except carry on with his conversation. I can see that he loves his daughters though, so it doesn't make sense why he would turn a blind eye on the fact that his wife just slapped one of his daughters and how she treats them as if they were objects.
With this book, I'm starting to think that the reason why Rose doesn't want to have children, a man/husband, and seems to be afraid of having sex, is because of her fear that she is just like her mother. That she will treat her children like her mother did to them. That she was never treated as an equal or had anyone to rely on except for herself. She had Poppy, but I'm thinking Poppy was more interested in boys.
I will say that I kind of struggled getting through this book, especially during the flashbacks. It might have been because I was tired and distracted by things I needed to get done. I also felt like there was more intimate/sex scenes happening throughout the book even though they weren't together in the past or in the present. I am glad to now understand the reason behind the pigs blood on the door incident as it was mentioned in the Bad Reputation Duet series.

I thought the narration was just as good as book 1.

Overall, this was a good book despite struggling with finishing it and I will be continuing with the series.

Lily's adventures while Lo's in rehab.

Maybe "adventures" isn't quite the right word here...
This is really Lily's story and how she's coping while Lo is in rehab. I think I would have liked it if we had gotten Lo's pov, too, to see how he was coping in rehab.
I enjoyed seeing her relationship with Ryke develop. It's nice she has him on her side while Lo's gone, even though he's pretty rough around the edges when it comes to offering support or comfort! But I like that about him, and I think in a way Lily needs his brand of tough love. Rose was such a great help to her in this book. And I loved seeing the interactions between Rose and Connor- I can see why they are fan favorites!
I also liked how we got to know Daisy a little more. I'm getting a kick out of the back and forth between her and Ryke. I was apprehensive about how it would be with them, considering the age difference, and knowing they end up together, but I'm glad to see that Ryke is treating her like a 16yo should be treated. So far I'm not getting any uncomfortable vibes from them, which honestly I was worried about. I am looking forward to seeing what's to come for them in the next couple of years!
I couldn't believe the way the book just ended on me- I was not prepared and didn't have the next one downloaded, but I've rectified that and am on to Addicted for Now,

I think Erin's growing on me as Lily. I still have the narration speed just a little higher than I normally would and it's helping. I don't notice the breathiness as much, so it really isn't distracting from the performance in this book. And the higher speed isn't distracting either, I'm still getting a good feel for the performance. I'm glad in the next book we finally get Lo's pov.
