Sweet and Cute Short Novella

This is the first novella in the Briar Glen Romantic Comedies. Lane and Emma's story is sweet and cute. Lexi Evans and Lucas Dixon did a good job bringing this story to life. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I absolutely loved listening to this story. The characters and storyline are so good, the narrators were great, and y'all are gonna love the ending. Enjoy.

Emma is on her way home after making it big as an author. She ends up getting into a car accident, and Lane, her brothers best friend, is the one to rescue her. While trying to help her heal her leg, Lane is also trying to revive their old friendship. This was such a fun, quick read. Abby is such a great author to read. Her writing always pulls me right in! The narrators were so good with this story! They were literally the perfect fit!

Lane and Emma

This was such a cute book. It was only about an hour and a half long and I enjoyed both narrators well enough.

Coming home after being away for the last 8 years, getting into a car accident right away wasn't how Emma was planning it happening. Especially since Lane was part of the rescuing party. Emma had a crush on Lane for years and it was one of the main reasons she stayed away. Now, she was home and injured, and Lane stepped up to help.

I liked the character development, even though it was quick. I would love to read more about these two and Emma's brother, in a different book.

This was a closed door, HEA romance. I will recommend it to all who like that style.

Charming Short Story

This is a charming telling of a developing relationship between Emma and her brother's best friend. The book is a little shorter than other books I have read by the author, so the backstory isn't as developed as in others. However, this is a good quick read (listen) and was an engaging story.

Rescued by my Brother's Best Friend by Abby Greyson is a good, and enjoyable sweet small town age gap brother's best friend second chance romantic comedy read. The story has a great entertaining world building story line. The characters are great, and they have great chemistry. This story is a very entertaining read with a happily ever after ending. The narrators were great and well done with having dual narrators really brings the story to life. I received an audio version of this book from the author. Review was voluntarily given.

What an absolutely adorable, short, sweet romance! I loved it so much!

I found myself into the book right from the beginning until the end.

The characters were so relatable, funny, deep, and sweet. The slow burn was 🔥 and the banter was spot on.

Super Cute Story about Childhood Crushes Turned to

Adored this super quick read (or listen actually) about Lane and Emma. Lexi Evans and Lucas Dixon did a fabulous job as narrators to bring these characters to life.

While I don't agree with Emma's brother's logic, I can understand why he and Lane took the stance they did. But I loved how Lane decided to prove his love for Emma, and thoroughly enjoyed their interactions through the story.

Excellent

This is a sweet love story with childhood friends and her brother growing up together. Lane and Emma had feelings for each other as kids but were afraid to let the brother know. As adults they find a way to allow themselves to be together but not without some challenges. These characters are amazing and brought to life by strong narrators. Highly recommend.
