Too formulaic
I’ve read a lot of Maryann’s books, enjoying them and giving them 5 star reviews. I loved every one of the Lighthouse books.
This is book 7 in the Saints Protection series. The stories throughout this series have become too formulaic. Same reworked plot over and over. I like sex scenes as well as most readers. This book could have the number cut in half to improve the flow of the story. Also, there are too many adjectives used inappropriately for what is happening in the story.
I don’t like the narrator at all. Too many inappropriate pauses in the middle of sentences. He is really bad at female voices. He reads with little expression.
