Fantastic finish!
This series is so good! I am not normally a paranormal listener, but the first book pulled me in and I have been captivated ever since. Intricate, exciting, spicy, Stacy Eaton has created a world that I became totally invested in and now it the excitement all comes to a head! Kristin is working on uniting humans and vampires. The president is on board, but there still the threat of Portage and his diabolical plans. How do they take him down, but still keep the peace? Kristin and Angelina remain powerful, but there are circumstances that are stunting their plans. But there is one who knows the way, and does her best to point them in the right direction. With all the blue bloods on deck, this proves to be the most thrilling of all the stories. Who can be trusted? Will they take Portage out in time? How does is all end? Even Alex is back for a cameo appearance! I loved every minute of this finale, and it was well worth the wait!
Alex Black finishes out the series with his narration. He keeps all the voices the same throughout the series, so it's easy to know who is speaking. With nuances and expression, he made this listen suspenseful and passionate. It was a pleasure to listen to.

The Final Book
This is Book 9 in the series and I'm not sure where I lost interest, but I did and was really not looking forward to listening to this one. I'm glad I did though. This was my favorite of all of the reborn series. it wraps up all the stories of the characters. Whereas the previous books was filled with drama, this book was full of action and the Breed members working together against the humans and Joseph Portage. There are some graphic MF/ MFM/ MM sex scenes.
