great performance and story line!

I skipped the .5 and did not feel like I missed much. Just that Captain Kayka (no idea how to spell characters when listening to audible!) and the king had a relationship. But it did not affect the overall story of the book!

Well, things are definitely heating up. The last book left us with Lieutenant Cas Ahn making a horrible, horrible mistake. One that really wasn't her fault, but she still bears the guilt. This is what happens when brandishing a blade that hates anything with magic in their blood. Too little was known about the blade before it was given to Cas and now she is paying the price for that.

She has finally given her resignation and wants nothing more to do with Wolf Squadron until she receives a summons - a command actually - from the King.

There is something very evil laying waste to the land and she is needed along with her old team if there is any chance of defeating it.

I will admit that I didn't really like Cas too much in this book. I was already having a bit of a problem liking her character, and while I DO understand the fact that she is feeling tremendous guilt, I haven't really liked the way she had been treating Tolemek.

I know, I know, this is a completely personal feeling on my part, but I can't help it. By the end of this book, I was feeling a little less animosity towards her, but let's see if she can keep that trend up.

Lots of action, lots of new magic and magic wielders being discovered...and dragons.....my oh my....

Another great book

This is a great continuation of the series. So much happens that I’m still wrapping my head around it all. Can’t wait to dive into the next one

I love this story

This series still has we wanting more. The dragon's are funny at the end of this story. On the edge of my seat needing to read the next book.

This is a great story and performed very well. The entire set kept my attention and left me wanting more.

the narrator was absolutely excellent!!!

the narrator made the audiobook an outstanding Adventure. Her voice characterizations were inspired and right on point. You can almost feel that several different people were speaking. I have listened to many audiobooks and often the narration takes something away from the book and makes it less interesting. This narrator, has narrated for all of Lindsay Brokers books, her skill in creating believable characterizations definitely adds to the enjoyment of the book! Please keep her!!!
