Not a whole lot to digest.
As an educational book this one falls well short of the mark. A revision with an additional 50 pages or so would be a marked improvement.

Very informative!
This book provides a large amount of great information and, as a new ranch and farm owner, I appreciated and enjoyed the book.

Got the important information in just an hour.
I don't have time to read a 300 paged beginners guide book. Getting this 1 hour audio book is a big win! Got the important information in just an hour. Narration is good!

Easier for me to listen to the audiobook version
Easier for me to listen to the audiobook version that read an actual book. This helped me get on with the book even when I am driving. The narrator's voice is so soft and easy to listen to.

Good place to start
Enjoyed the book. Very informative! I would recommend for those starting out. Enough details to inform but not overwhelm.

Paper book maybe better with pictures.
Maybe a paper copy would be better to go back and reference however doesn't talk about the stuff you really have questions on when your a beginner. Doesn't talk about feed requirements at all.

Meh
This book was a little hard for me. I'm not new to the cattle business but always searching for new information so thought this would be an easy listen to see if I could learn anything new. Stepping back and thinking from a beginner standpoint I felt it this book oversimplified some things, definitely left things out that are pertinent to beginners and then didn't explain other things quite as early as they possibly could. There was some good information in there I just felt certain things could have been explained a lot better and more information added.

A good start.
I’m thinking of maximizing the farm we bought two months ago. A recent blog included beef cattle farming and this explains why I bought this audio guide as a start. The guide sure has definitive info and aids any beginners to become a good beef producer eventually. Not to mention that it’s concise and all. Made learning more interesting.
