love the story, but hate .

loved the story, it is not my usual type of story. I am rather glad I downloaded the series. Love the fact that it is like a game of chess, with so many moving characters.
Rather upset to find out that the 4th book is not on audible. Truth be told I only downloaded the books because it was read by Nelson Hobbs, and extra bonus by Anastasia Watlry. As a person who has to have stories read to her I am very upset that I will never know how it will end.

Huge Cliffhanger

Elio & Sienna’s saga continues and worth the credit for this series. So much action, drama, no cheating or angst, lies, deceit, twists and a fight for power.

A bit confusing

JL Darake is a favorite author of mine and although a bit confusing, I will listen to the last one to see what happens. It feels like unfinished thoughts..hope it is better for you!

Favorite so far

Each book has had me coming back for more almost finished with the last book and can not complain

So many twists and turns

I really don't think my heart can handle all these twists. The steamy scenes sizzle off the page. Eilo and Sienna's love cannot, and will not, be denied. They both have grown so much over this series. I've already started the last book and can't wait to see how they work through the challenges they face.

Good but FMC is way to overly selfish

I love this story, but by this book 3 Cienna is just ridiculous and way to overly selfish. She didn’t want to understand anyone else’s point of view, she didn’t respect what Elio is going through and trying to do. She wanted to be apart of the mafia but couldn’t respect the MAN she loves and who has been apart of this life his whole life. She thinks she knows how it all works, and doesn’t want to listen to anyone’s logic. She’s such a disrespectful arrogant person wanna be mafia queen in this book. It’s horrible.
BUT besides that bit the action and twists in this series is so good and keeps you entertained. 🤌🏼

Never knew I would lose sleep waiting for what comes next. Nail bitter, edge of seat plot and story line.

Who Did What!!

It's a lot of moving parts, but I love suspense books and this book was a book of masterful manipulation with action, funny characters and spicy scenes. The narrators were so on point and they had at least 3 people to imitate, but I'm running to start the last book.
FYI: this book ends on a big ol cliff hanger! that's why I'm running to the 4th book

Felt lost

I love how the story is so complex and woven so artfully. However, I felt so lost in this book and a bit confused making me wonder what I had missed. It was a bit all over the place and disorganized. There was also a scene that was extremely distasteful in their enjoyment of murder as the family complimented each other.
