solid expert guidance on a very difficult subject

this is a tough subject, the author does a fantastic job showing why people struggle with this and how to break free from it. You can feel the author's sincerity. and he has a lot of experience and really knows what he's talking about. I recommend this highly.

Excellent book for ANY addictive behaviors...

This was an excellent book that offers strong insight for ANY addictive behaviors. It was helpful in understanding what it is that we are trying to do (numb uncomfortable emotions that have not been dealt with approprjately) when we "use"....whether that "use" is sex, or drugs. or alcohol. or food. or cigarettes. or even coffee or energy drinks! Any behavior that you no longer want to do, or that you know is not good for you but you do anyway. is not something many people can successfully give up without understanding what it is that they are trying to "numb" from.....and addressing it head on. There is freedom in coming clean, being honest with yourself and others, being humble and vulnerable, and finding support and acceptance where you thought you'd only find judgement! You will discover as I am currently discovering after almost 40 years in a self-imposed prison of shame, that true freedom lies in the love & grace of God, offered freely through Christ.

I hope and pray that you begin to find yourself through this amazing book. as I did. and I'm eternally grateful to Pastor Ted Roberts for having the courage to not only write this book, but to lead men out of their darkness of addiction and into the healing light.

This is absolutely the most honest, understanding, loving, effective and beneficial book on this topic. I laughed, cried and in my heart I want to implement this advice. Thank you Ted for such a thorough work. Now I’m going to purchase a hard copy so I can reread and write in.

An Absolute Must-Read For Every Man

AMAZING book. It is truly a must-read for every man. This book helped me release shame to Jesus that I was still holding onto and I have felt a noticeable decrease in my anxiety. This book is worth its weight in gold.

There’s hope for healing

I’ve been addicted to porn for most of my life & I love God. I’ve recently been fighting to get free with real purpose. Porn is the unspoken and secret drug of choice in all churches. Men need help but no one knows how to deal with this. Thanks for sharing this inspiring book.

Absolutely eye-opening book. A must-read for anyone seeking a healthy and God-aligned sexual behavior, be it as a single or married.

GREAT material, BUT

NEW information to me and I'm not new to battling my addiction. I highly suggest making a copy geared towards addictions in general, it would reach a ton of more people like me that need it. I'm scared that someone will hear me listening to this and think I have this issue(no judgement). I do deal with an addiction, but not this. My spouse was concerned that I had this addiction now, it was uncomfortable trying to explain that the material applies to all addictions. Please please make an adjusted copy, I'm finding this material the best I've heard so far and I'm not even done with the book yet.
