Great book to encourage Christian men in purity

Although the spoken narrator can be a little dry at times, the book has a great grip on scripture and sexuality. Both law and gospel are well applied to the subject. I do wish Doug had spent a little more time spent on techniques for purity than reiterating his own story of change repeatedly but overall I appreciate his materials.

All men must read this book!!

All men must read this book!! Our families are under attack… the devil knows that if he takes out the male..the family is destroyed. The easiest way Satan does it is via porn and lust. Dr Weiss offers practical tips that we can utilize to defeat the enemies tactics. I would give all five stars but audio production malfunctions for a few seconds around 2:53:00 or 2:59:00 mark. If they would correct this the audiobook would be perfect!!

Great starting place for recovery

Clean is an excellent starter kit for those seeking freedom from pornography. It opens the door to greater levels of recovery for those who need it. I think it should be a staple of any mens ministry that wants to seriously tackle this destructive issue.

More a sermon than help...

This book is more like a long sermon than any kind of help. Even if some of the techniques somewhat work, 3/4 of the book are biblical texts and a whole lot of preaching about how your dick belongs to god and your wife. Unless you're a devout theist, and I mean devout with a capital D, don't waste your time with this book. The author is trying to guilt trip you into being a better person through all of the typical shame based trappings that are the basis of all religion: Be good and do as I say or else, insert hellfire and smite.
