What A Rack

Bryce is a moose shifter who has to marry to inherit the company from his grandfather. Melanie is a lynx shifter who doesn't realize there are other shifters, other than her absentee father.
Bryce meets Melanie and deciding she's the perfect female, proposes to her. At first she thinks it's a joke, but he pursues her and gets her to change her mind.
"Keep things professional" they agreed. But the heart doesn't believe in professionalism. It believes in love and love will not be denied.
Great story. Loved it.

Great Fun!

The Billionaire Moose is an Alpha with protective instincts as big as his rack! Bryce and Melanie make a fun couple as Melanie learns more about her shifter side and Bryce learns more about women.
Grandpa Theo is a schemer of the first order and an absolute gem.

Awesome story.

Arrogant man meets humble woman add in family drama and you have a funny story that sucks you in and makes you laugh out loud. You also root for the moose to get his cat and love happily ever after.

Bryce & Melanie

A lot of story happening in this. Bryce needs to wed and have a baby to inherit the family company, and a new relative, Rory, appears to inherit with a crazy fiance (but what happens to her and where are his consequences?). Some wolf shifters start attacking others (where are those consequences Bryce talked about?). Melanie has a terrible mother and lets her continue to abuse her, everyday. Cute read with Melanie thinking she is different and alone.

Hero is Bryce . Heroine is Melanie .
Love how Eve takes a commen trait in a love romance and gives it a spin. Love how Bryce is a Moose so strong and determined. Bryce gets a visit from his grandfather and he gets his marching orders . “Get married and produce grandchildren before I’m five feet under “. Bryce is wondering where is he going to find such a woman.
Melanie is taking care of her mother. She is in line at a coffee shop when she gets a most unexpected question.
Bryce asks Melanie “ will you marry me”

Great story, great performance

Respect the rack! Logan McAllisters voice was perfect for bringing this hilarious drama to life! The story itself centered around Brice and Melanie as they navigated a fake/real relationship, scheming family members, and learning about their pasts. It was well written, had great character development, was funny, entertaining, and interesting. Definitely looking forward to book 2!

Loved the story

I loved the story, but I didn't love the narrator. I know he was supposed to be arrogant sounding but I think he may have overstepped the mark a bit. I enjoyed the story and the writing but the tone the narrator adopted was a tiny bit grating.

A Funny Listen!

This is another great listen by Eve Langlais! I think the reason I love her books so much is because they are not only a romance book but they have that comedy factor in there too! The narrator on this one is great and definitely does the story justice. The story itself is great and makes you want to listen (or read) about Rory's story next. Melanie is funny and down to earth and Bryce is a man fighting for what he loves while wanting to keep his life the same. Neither realize just how much their lives will change. An awesome book!

What, no Rocky & Bullwinkle jokes?

“Meow! Inner kitty was liking the smell of the man behind her.
She ignored her; inner kitty also liked the smell of raw fish.”
This was a fun caper featuring a bulldozing moose in need of a fiancée and
a poor lynx shifter just wanting a good cup of joe.

“Hand slapping ensued, along with some growling.”
The narrator didn’t quite sell the campiness of this author’s shifter stories, but he was good enough that I’d have gotten a sequel if one was available. In the meantime, I can always relisten to the author’s
Kodiak Point shifter series for sexy fun times.
