WOW... I loved this. I didn't think I would. In the first few pages when the CO was giving Abby a hard time, I had instant flashbacks to my first days in prison (I did 3 years for a car accident, Sounds crazy right.... well it was a cop that I hit. So I was screwed!). I also am a recovering heroin addict. So when Abby was talking about her mother, It def brought up some feelings. So I thought I would hate it. Because unless you've been there, you can't know. But these authors did an amazing job. A good book is supposed to bring up feelings, and that is exactly what this book did. Both narrators were amazing! I saw a few people commenting on the female's narration, but I LOVED her. I loved her voice. She sounded like a real performer, in my opinion. When a story is told by two different POV, why wouldn't you want two different voices? I don't know... People are weird.
This book was given to me at my request, Thank you Audiobook Obsession. You guys always have the best books! You never disappoint. My review is honest and Voluntary.

Authors PLEASE dont use Lauren Sweet!

If the preview would have been Lauren Sweet I would have passed on this book. Unfortunately/Fortunately the preview is of Jacob Morgan and he is AMAZING!!! I wish he had read the entire book. Hes perfect. Not sure why everyone is hung up on sebastian york, Jacob Morgan is king! The book was very engaging, though dark. This lets you know what the dark themes are without having to spell out ever word. I like that. Moving on to the next book in the series now!

The story has depth, made me tear up several times. it moves quickly and I was on the edge of my seat. Loved this group of young men and their support of each other. jacob Morgan's voice is addictive as he brings characters to life.

Great book but....

I loved the book, i hated the female narrator. She sounded like she was singing and overly dramatic. It sounded like an annoying automated machine. Also wasn’t fond of the slang they used in place of vagina. Between the female narrator and that one word, i cringed plenty during the book. But overall great story. Kinda annoying how dumb the Abby was but it gets better.

I adore Greyson & his narrator. looking forward to Stone's story.

An unconventional romance

I enjoyed this book way more than I thought I was going to. I listened to the audiobook and I loved that there were two narrators! Grayson was surprisingly sweet in a caveman sort of way and that’s what made this story for me. He was a phenomenal character. There was so much depth to him. He had a horrific childhood and wound up in prison but he was still able to care in his own way. Abby was okay... she wasn’t my favorite character... she wasn’t the worst either though.

This book has a lot of darker elements to it. There are a few parts that bothered me a little bit but not enough to make the book bad.

Well that was a roller coaster!

Truthfully, this is my first time reading and listening to a book like this, and I am honestly not disappointed at all. I personally thought it was a perfect mix of the sub and dom culture without going completely overboard, but still had those moments where it was triggering, but then again with books like this, you have to expect that so I’m not faulting that at all. I did think the storyline was rushed a bit, and I think I only say that because I wanted more of the story. The way the story was written and it how it went throughout the book was really good, I guess I just wish there was more.. i’m happy that this was my first choice book to read in this category and I’m looking forward to reading more.

This 🎧book is 🥵… ⚠️The book is full of triggers but still awesome! One of my favorite male narrators is Jacob Morgan and his voice is HAF😘(I would do anything he asked for🤭)& Lauren was good. The story keeps you invested in what’s going to happen next, hot sex scenes, and the ending was interesting…I would’ve loved a wedding & babies but nonetheless it’s still a good ending basically a HFN. Is it worth a credit? Yes it sure is♥️👄

Such a great book!

So this was a great book. Kept me on the edge and really so many twist and turns. The ending was too short! I felt they should have added more. Even an epilogue. The ending never finished completely

Perfection!

This story draws you in right from the beginning, the sweet and proper Abigail locking eyes a irresistible prison inmate. The intrigue only goes up from there, weaving a heartbreaking tale of how Greyson ended up there. Action, forbidden steamy romance, mystery-it's all there. The performances on both parts are spot on, Lauren Sweet excellent as usual and Jacob Morgan...*swoon*. Did you think you could ever fall in love with a prisoner?.... because after Jacob's performance please sign me up! One of the best books i've heard in a while. Highly recommend!
