Great story!

This was fun, exciting, sexy and romantic. The narration was perfect also. This will be moved to my re-listen list of books.

Move it up your TBR!!!

I saw something about this book on TikTok and put it on my TBR..kept finding other books to read and finally moved this one up and read it…I WISH I READ THIS SOONER!!! 😩😩

This book was beautiful, nothing felt drawn out…sometimes they focus too much on mafia stuff during these romances but I think we got the perfect amount of everything in this book. There is no description when it comes to the spicy seen so if you like that you won’t get much of it in this book…I didn’t mind it in this book, it seemed fitting.

It’s a beautiful mafia romance story with great narrators. It’s a feel good read.

I haven’t read a C.W Farnsworth book I didn’t enjoy!

Loved ♥️♥️♥️this story

I absolutely loved the story. Truth be told it started out with a lot of internal monologue, and I almost gave up on it..  I am so glad that I didn’t. It was full of suspense, and romance and angst, and a beautiful, happy ending. It was definitely a journey.

I enjoyed this book

I really liked the story line. I feel like Lyla’s personality was a little flat and really didn’t show her internal struggle enough. Overall I enjoyed the book.

Overall worth it

The reading of the story was fantastic, the story doesn’t take long to pick up nor does it slow back down, it’s got pretty basic themes and tropes in it but a very second chance mafia romance, if I’ve ever read one. Loved it 4/5 :)

4.5 stars ⭐️ This is a second chance romance with the secret baby trope. Lyla was ghosted by Nick. 9 years later, she ran into his best friend where she told him about their son, Leo. Lyla and her son is suddenly thrust into the world of the mafia when Nick came back for them. Nick left Lyla because his father and is now the new packhan. Nick took Lyla and Leo back to Russia to protect them. Nick and Lyla’s second chance romance is fantastic! They had to fight for each other, protecting each other and protecting Leo. The chemistry was delicious! The character growth was done organically throughout the narrative. It caught at the start, and I was interested throughout the story until the end. The mafia aspects were done well. I would absolutely recommend Pretty Ugly Promises!

I loved loved this narration it was perfect the plot was blazing and the storyline was intriguing I want a Nick for myself I can’t wait for more..

I thoroughly enjoyed this mafia romance. The lack of repetitive inner dialogue was refreshing and shed small amounts of mystery to the characters. You don’t have to be a fan of the genre to enjoy it. The narrators were an added bonus to an already great audiobook.

Creditworthy? Absolutely yes!
