A great quick listen!

This was a great read! Brielle and Max were fun to get to know and fully developed for such a short story. The other firefighters were great too; making you want to read their stories as well.

The narrator, Misty Diamond, really brought the characters to life!

This is a fun short story that I enjoyed reading The story is fast paced and keeps you turning the pages, hoping they can get a happily ever after.

Short and Sweet

This is a short and sweet semi insta love. It has a curvy woman as the main character which is always nice to see and a hot firefighter as main male character. Win win to me. Very short and hot!

Quick and easy listen!

Kelsie Calloway has us caught up in the flames of passion with this quick and easy listen. Maxwell is set to be Mr. July in the upcoming firefighter calendar. Tired of being the object of desire to raise funds, he wants out this year. That is until he meets the photographer. Curvy and beautiful, and the captain's niece, Brielle knows of Maxwell's playboy reputation, but that does not stop her from bring attracted to him. Given the chance, will she go out with him? There is a lot at stake to be with a man not interested in a relationship. Or is he? You can't always believe what you hear, and there are bigger fires to put out. What will her uncle say? This is a fun listen, with lots of banter, not only between Brielle and Maxwell, but the other firefighters too! It's a fun break to enjoy a satisfying romance in an hour! I look forward to more from her.

Misty Diamond is our narrator and she is new to me. While the story flows with ease, there are times her voices are hard to distinguish. When they are though, they are well suited to the characters. She has good inflections and gives us a story to enjoy.

An Enjoyable & Entertaining Story & Listen🎧

This is my first book written by Kelsie Calloway and it was a great introduction to her work and her series. I enjoyed her writing style and the characters and storylines she created. Firefighter Maxwell Dalton is a known player and has no plans of settling down or having a serious relationship and everyone he works with knows this, including his Chief. But he never met someone like Brielle Warner before, she is the photographer who will be take pictures of the firefighters for their annual calendar, she is also the Chief’s niece, which makes her off limits. But there is something about Brielle that draws him in and makes him feel things and even after she gives him an out, he realizes that is not what he wants. This short story is fast moving and there is never a dull moment, it has the perfect balance of drama, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. It is a great book to enjoy in one sitting. Kelsie Calloway thank you for this enjoyable story, I am looking forward to checking out more of your books.

🎧📚🎧 I listened to the audible edition, Misty Diamond did a fine job bringing the characters and their story to life. She grasped the character’s emotions and projected them into her performance. I see she is fairly new to narrating and I am sure she will improve her character voices over time, especially her male voices. She changed her vocal range as she switched roles, making it easy to follow along, but I think this book would have been even better with a male narrator covering the male roles. Misty Diamond is an entertaining storyteller with a pleasant voice, I am looking forward to hearing her expand on and grow her talent as a narrator.
