What you’ll learn:

This course includes lessons 6-10 from the Spanish Level One program featuring 2.5 hours of language instruction. Each lesson provides 30 minutes of spoken language practice, with an introductory conversation and new vocabulary and structures. Detailed instructions enable you to understand and participate in the conversation. Practice for vocabulary introduced in previous lessons is included in each lesson. The emphasis is on pronunciation and comprehension and on learning to speak Spanish.

I'm actually catching on. Woo-hoo. so glad I made the decision to do this.

It refers to reading lessons that aren't available

Another reviewer pointed this out and I wanted to say it's true. It refers tp reading lessons that aren't anywhere to download. I paid full price for the lesson and that's disappointing. The Pimsleur method seems like a great way to learn, if they supplied all the materials.

great way to learn Spanish

I really enjoy this learning format. My brain seems to absorb the language even before I fully understand it. So different and so much better from my experience in f2f class or other formats like Duolingo, YouTube classes etc.

Finally

Pimsler makes it easy to understand and speak. Finally, I am actually learning conversational Spanish.

Very Effective Method To Learn A New Language!

Not sure why I didn't find this Pimsleur to learn a new language sooner. I am happily surprised by how effective this method is. Highly recommended to anyone!

Very repetitive, limited words

I chose this program based excellent reviews. But listeners should know that these lessons are very repetitive and do not grow to include new words. My intention was to be able to speak Spanish in education. I have taken years of Spanish but needed to brush up. This series doesn’t advance past a very beginning level. The same 6 sentences are repeated lesson after lesson. (How many pesos do you have? I want to buy a beer, Where is the hotel? I want to buy a soda.). Granted, these words can be used in other sentences however, These topics are best used for travel to Spanish-speaking countries. Day-to-day life or other topics of conversation are not included. Repeating lessons to essential to learning them, but not the same few sentences over and over.

as the sentences become more complex, this set of lessons uses less repetition and speeds up. very hard to fill in the pronunciation and the words. I really struggled
