What you’ll learn

This course includes Lessons 11-15 from the Spanish Level 1 program featuring 2.5 hours of language instruction. Each lesson provides 30 minutes of spoken language practice, with an introductory conversation, and new vocabulary and structures. Detailed instructions enable you to understand and participate in the conversation. Practice for vocabulary introduced in previous lessons is included in each lesson. The emphasis is on pronunciation and comprehension, and on learning to speak Spanish.

The Spanish language

Spanish is the official language of 19 Latin American nations, as well as Spain, the Dominican Republic, and Cuba. Further, it’s one of the six official languages recognized by the United Nations. Learning fast

I'm picking up Spanish at an alarming rate. Very pleased! I'm at lesson 16 now. I should be at an advanced level within 3 months.

A little slow

I was hoping these courses would move more quickly than they do, but this is a successful course, so it must be the best way.

Very Effective Learning Method

I have been trying to learn a new language for past ten years. My efforts are finally paid off by finding this very effective way of learning a new language: Pimsleur method! Highly recommend it to anyone.

Effective learning tool

The series of language learning books from Pimsleur are very effective for learning a foreign language. My only suggestion for improvement is in aid of those who may not have a steep learning curve. Despite the probable intent that the learner responds as quickly as possible to gain fluency in the spoken language, the time allotted after the guide requests the learner to say or ask something in the foreign tongue is sometimes not adequate, especially for the earlier lessons. Overall I am very satisfied with this learning series or books and would recommend highly to anyone wishing to learn a foreign language. I was able to functionally speak with native speakers in under two months

where are the reading chapters?

In the store it says that the reading chapters are available in PDF in your audible library. This is not the case as multiple reviews pointed out. I payed for the reading chapters and would love to practice them as well. Where can I find them?

BAR NONE Best Foundational Audio on the market

Whether you use the app or buy the entire Audiook course for levels one through five, this is the one. There are four major components of language learning reading, writing, listening and SPEAKING!!! Many options are available to recieve excellent practice with the first 3 but the latter is one we could never get enough practice with. People who are currently learning English don't neccesarily care if their grammar is 100%, it is the art of trying to communicate with others. This will bring you to a high fundamental proficiency of holding conversations! (Not just this one the entire series) I purchased this course after I finished these 5 lessons! Good luck in your language learning journey.

Not bad, could be better

Each phrase and sentence should be repeated at least twice each and spoken with more clarity. The audio is somewhat distorted.

You'll surprise yourself

You'll be speaking Spanish before you know it. I'm surprised at what I've already learned.

mind-numbingly boring

How many vanilla conchas can one person eat? Can we just move on? Very demotivating.
