I am an avid reader and this is likely the best book I read for the year. I will reread it with time. every woman should read this book!

They were back and forth and it felt natural unlike the usual robot sounding narrators

Surprised and interested

This book was selected as part of a book club. I long ago have up any fantasies about modeling, but this book was not really about that. I found it to be candid and an interesting conversation between mother and daughter that dealt with many things women face. Far more relatable than I expected!

this book was absolutely amazing and so empowering

this book has no words for how amazing it truly is. I can't wait to share it with my daughter when she becomes a teenager we have to figure out this messy girl thing together. But in the meantime I fully intend to look in the mirror and love what I see and focus on growing myself personally and professionally so I can be a better me so I can be better for my family and for my daughter when she's ready.

A really great book

A fantastic book that I found to be developmental and maturative for a young man coming of age such as myself. I found this book to be written at a really intelligent level and I further found this book to be really relatable and encouraging. The intonations and inflections were really great and I highly recommend this book.

Momma London is so Funny!

I have to admit, I thought the combo narration would be all sorts of corny but it was well done and Tyra' s mom had me laughing. I wish I had a woman like her in my life.

Loved every moment of it

I am so glad I opened an Audible account just for this book. I've always admired Tyra Banks but I am never the type to keep up with social media or know everything that went on with celebrities I like. This book was amazing because it helped me get to know Tyra Banks more, understand the modeling industry, and learn to love myself and other girls. Tyra's interactions with her mom and how Carolyn had raised her touched me deeply. They really inspired me to be like Carolyn when I'm a mother. Their mother-daughter relationship made me cry at times and grin like an idiot at other times. I'm just so sad it's over but I'll keep relistening because it had made an impact on my perspectives on life. Thank you Tyra! Gonna wait for book 2 now!
