I overall ADORE this arc, DOTC is one of the first arcs for the Warriors series i read and holds a special place in my heart. Gray Wings death in the end never fails to make me tear up.

I've been listening to Warriors since i was little. it's always been hard for me to get into a book series, i have ADHD so i have to REALLY REALLY like a book too keep reading/listening. Especially when it's such a long series, or if the book is too long..... But wc has me hooked. (Also can we PLEASE talk about how annoying Clearsky is? Like bro, Get. A. Life. )

I am thankful that starflowers ok. I Seriously HATE slash he’s such a dumb mouse heart. I can’t believe he let beech die HE’S SO DUMB. Also I hate dogs. I cant believe that bee was loyal to slash and that she attacked fern. I WANT TO KILL HER. I also can’t believe that grey wing died and I feel bad that his kits didn’t realize that he had died also I love the voice macloud Andrew does for kits. I can’t believe that two legs AKA humans destroyed sky star/clear sky’s land I can’t wait to start start start start the the the next book

Wow! Emotional Rollercoaster. Well done. Riveting story, excellently narrated. If you've made it this far in the story, you have come to expect this greatness. No disappointment whatsoever.

over all this series was a wonderful listen. MacLeod Andrews is a master narrator and the characters really grew on me. it was a nice break away from the original cast most of the books follow.

Honestly

This is probably one of the better series thus far. My heart breaks with every series ending.
Yet, I know the next book is around the corner.

i don't know how you do it. but your series is the only one that can continually tear at my heart strings even though I know sad stuff is going to happen. My sister actually laughed when she noticed, because it's almost impossible for anything to get me to ball my eyes out even when I know certain parts have potential to do that. so bravo in continually making my emotions show plainly on my face to my family that usually never see me cry. not even the animatics i watch that introduced me to the series last month got me this worked up. now to go find the happy fairy tale retellings before i buy the next installment (i bout this after reading the 1st 6 books about firestar)

(SPOILERS AHEAD) R.I.P Gray’Wing the cat that just wanted peace and love from his brother. He died without Turtle’Tail- His first crush. His Kits didn’t understand that he was dying- In fact his kit even said: “Gray’wings just got the sniffles! (Medicine cat- I forgot) will give him herbs to take away the sniffles. When I had the Sniffles they cured them” Gray’Wing named the Clans wisely- R.I.P SkyClan in the next books- Poor SkyStar AKA ClearSky had to watch his “Precious” Borders get torn apart by Twolegs. Poor Slate- Poor sad sad Slate, Black ear and (I forgot the other two) Poor MothFlight getting grounded from her Mother. Even Black ear was oblivious to even the thought of him sick- Boasting about how he almost got crushed by a Monster but ClearSky (Or Thunder) Saved him, He only noticed when Gray’Wing was saying very touching goodbyes. As if he wouldn’t see them ever again.


“Your to hard on her WindRunner” WELL WELL- Of course Gorse Fur is just gonna say that. WISE WORDS! Making your Wife turn on you like that- Haha You don’t deserve to have MothFlight WindRunner.
