Acerca de esta escucha
What if chronic pain isn't a sign of damage or illness, but simply a misunderstanding by your over-protective brain about the condition of your body?
In Pain Free You, Dan Buglio shares how the brain's perception of either danger or safety is the direct switch that turns pain and other symptoms on or off. With this new understanding, you'll learn how to reverse the chronic pain or ailments you've been suffering from.
By overcoming 13 years of chronic back pain and sciatica and spending over 25 years researching mind-body recovery, Buglio has become a leading expert in the space. He has coached over 2,000 individuals through these concepts and helped many thousands more through over 5 years of posting daily online videos. He has now amassed a worldwide audience of over 50,000 subscribers and counting.
The real-life experiences and feedback shared by his clients and viewers enable Buglio to continually adapt, refine, and improve his approach to recovery. But even as the world of mind-body connections grows, one concept always rings true: you can simplify a seemingly complex problem and make recovery accessible. And Pain Free You can show you how.
In Pain Free You, you'll discover:
- The root cause of pain and symptoms and why they become chronic
- The wide variety of pain or symptoms that can be resolved with Buglio's approach
- How to assess your symptoms to know if this approach will work for you
- The simple solution to turn off your pain or symptoms once and for all
Pain Free You will change the way you view your brain and body. By understanding how the human system functions, you'll unlock the door to eliminating years of suffering. It's proven. It's reliable. It's predictable. It's your turn.
Take control of your recovery and regain the life you deserve. No drugs. No surgery. No endless procedures. Just real, lasting results.
This stuff works, folks.

Neuroscientist Candace Pert provides startling and decisive answers to these and other challenging questions that scientists and philosophers have pondered for centuries. She explains the scientific basis of popular wisdom and phenomena like "gut feelings" and makes comprehensible recent discoveries in cancer and AIDS research.

Anita Moorjani had lymphoma, which had spread throughout her body, and her organs were beginning to shut down. As she slipped into a coma, doctors were resigned to the fact that she was in her last hours of life. Yet Anita experienced what has been termed a near-death experience (NDE), and within 24 hours of coming out of the coma, she had a newfound knowing about her own life. Subsequently, her body healed very rapidly, and within weeks doctors found no traces of cancer. This audiobook was inspired by what Anita experienced during her own journey to healing.

Dr. Rankin discovered the health care she had been taught was missing something: a recognition of the body’s innate ability to self-repair. Using cases of spontaneous healing, Dr. Rankin shows how thoughts, feelings, and beliefs can alter the body’s physiology. She lays out the data proving that loneliness, pessimism, depression, fear, and anxiety damage the body, while intimate relationships, gratitude, meditation, sex, and authentic self-expression flip on the body’s self-healing processes.

The emotional trauma we suffer as children not only shapes our emotional lives as adults but also affects our physical health and overall well-being. Scientists now know on a biochemical level exactly how parents' chronic fights, divorce, death in the family, being bullied or hazed, and growing up with a hypercritical, alcoholic, or mentally ill parent can leave permanent, physical "fingerprints" on our brains.

Historia
Brittany Piper spent most of her life sitting across from conventional therapists recalling the painful stories of her trauma. But rehashing each harrowing event—being put into foster care as a baby, losing her brother in a car accident, enduring a brutal rape and a very public trial, and more—made her even more stuck. At a crossroads, she took her recovery into her own hands. On this journey, Brittany discovered emerging science that explains how and why trauma lives in our bodies, not in the story of what happened to us.

Historia
Whether it’s anxiety about going to the doctor, boiling rage when we’re stuck in traffic, or devastation after a painful break-up, our lives are filled with situations that send us spiraling. But as difficult as our emotions can be, they are also a superpower. Far from being “good” or “bad,” emotions are information. When they’re activated in the right ways and at the right time, they function like an immune system, alerting us to our surroundings, telling us how to react to a situation, and helping us make the right choices. But how do we make our emotions work for us rather than against us?

Alan Gordon, a psychotherapist and the founder of the Pain Psychology Center in Los Angeles, was in grad school when he started experiencing chronic pain and it completely derailed his life. He saw multiple doctors and received many diagnoses, but none of the medical treatments helped. Frustrated with conventional pain management, he developed Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), a mind-body protocol that eliminated his own chronic pain and has transformed the lives of thousands of his patients.

Historia
We’ve been sold a lie: The world tells us that pain is inevitable, that our bodies must break down as we age, and that there’s nothing we can do about it. Here’s the shocking truth: The vast majority of the pain that plagues our aging bodies is self-inflicted. It’s caused by the way we use our bodies every day - the way we sit, the way we stand, the way we walk and run. But with simple exercises, anybody can learn to heal their chronic musculoskeletal pain, and prevent future pain, injury, and joint problems from developing.

Historia
Can you really cure chronic pain without drugs, surgery, or therapy? Surprisingly, often the answer is yes. While chronic pain can have a physical cause, this book, written by a leading UK physiotherapist and chronic pain specialist, reveals how very real, even debilitating, pain can frequently be caused by our brain in response to repressed or avoided emotions as a result of current and even past experiences. This process is at the root of many common complaints.

Life changing information- excellent!
I’ve never written a review. I’ve listened to Dan ( the author) for a couple of years on YouTube but never took the time to do the exercises and put all of his knowledge together to truly understand this concept of perceived danger pain from my mind. I had a 5 hour trip home the day this came out and I was so anxious and had back pain driving the freeways of Atlanta. I listened to 5 hours of the audiobook and was able to make it home without panicking and actually forgetting about my back pain. Thank you so much for this audio book! It will be listened to more than once!

So very helpful.
Dan has compiled his many year journey with chronic pain/symptoms into practical, science backed straight forward guidance. As a person who has been tossed around in the Lyme and Long Covid community I know how hopeless these things can feel. Dan brings legitimate hope and does so without asking for thousands of dollars or impossible protocols.
He is a breath of fresh air and an invaluable asset to the TMS community. He is taking us out of the dark ages. He knows his stuff. This book has been a God send. Keep up the great work Dan.

Dan’s book is a lifesaver and his straightforward, simple techniques are easy to understand, but even better, easier to implement. I have already improved so much since finding Dan’s videos and reading his book. The techniques in this book will truly change your life if you put your mind to it and do the work. I can’t thank Dan enough for his work in trying to help people with TMS and for truly helping me to get my life back!

Wow!!!
Blown away. Dan just makes everything so uncomplicated. This book gets right to the point. I got the audible version and started implementing right away. My symptoms were gone for two hours that same day I finish the book. I have a long way to go, but following Dans method is so much easier and less complicated than all the other ones out there.
I think this man may have just saved my life.
Every message I send him through messenger he responds to... he seriously cares for each and every one of us and wants us to get. Thank you, Dan from the bottom of my heart.

The power to beat pain starts within
Dan Buglio has taken the work of John Sarno and made it even easier to understand! Pain may be a teacher, but when it becomes the master of our mind and overtakes our every thought, it becomes a problem. Our world becomes limited and hopeless when we constantly feel broken and afraid of our future- it could be almost anything- pain, depression, fatigue, you name your symptoms. If you have symptoms, you have a problem. Dan's simple teaching is easy to understand; this book is an excellent story of his journey to helping people understand how their brains, in an attempt to help them, can hurt us, literally in the form of pain or symptoms. We have the power to change our brains, and thus have the power to change the way we feel; pain-free is possible for anyone! Thanks, Dan.
