Mark D. Meadows continues to relate his memories of the Missouri hills. His previous book, Echoes from the Ozarks, contains many stories, most of them short and amusing. The current book has a number of longer narratives, as well as several short, funny tales. Some stories are more moving than mirthful, but all have their humorous touches.
