This one will keep you wanting more. The authors are giving us another great listen and the narrators did a great job.

Great read, I loved this book!!

Would you consider the audio edition of Owned to be better than the print version?

I read and listen at the same time. There is such tremendously elevated level of dimension added by having the audio that I cannot imagine and seldom read any book without listening to it. So I am a HUGE advocate of adding more books to Audible.com.

What other book might you compare Owned to and why?

All the books in this "Highest Bidder" series are comparable and I love them all. Each has a unique twist in one way or another that brings a different flavor to it.

Which character – as performed by Douglas Berger and Brooke Hayden – was your favorite?

Joseph was my favorite character; a completely unique individual who ends up in a loving relationship, despite having survived horrendously grotesque life events early on.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Why would anyone go the movies when they can stay home with audio books???

Three down, one to go

My favorite so far to the series. I can't wait to hear the next one.

must read

I started this series just a few days ago and I can't stop. Each book is a stand alone but you do get introduced to additional characters in each book. Joseph and Lilly stole my heart and I hope they will be brought back in future books just so I can see how they are doing.

Not What I Expected

There was more fight in the heroine than expected. She takes risks throughout. I liked her. The dark but handsome brooding hero as expected kept me in the dark almost until the very end. I did like that I could not guess everything. And no cliffhanger and an HEA. Lilly the heroine would love that.

Lilly and Jacob!

Lilly is studying psychology in University and goes to Club X just to watch and absorb saying that it’s research for a book. Jacob has a troubled past and enjoys the BDSM lifestyle and is looking for a Master/slave relationship as he needs the control. They are attracted to each other but Jacob has doubts that Lilly is suited for the lifestyle. Lilly is considering going up for auction as she has lost her job but Jacob intervenes and they sign a contract. When his past resurfaces Lilly isn’t sure that she wants to be part of it but Jacob is not willing to let her go but will he be able to protect her?

The connection between the characters is instant and intense and I liked how Lilly was able to break through some of the walls Jacob had built around himself. The narrators did a great job of bringing the characters to life.

Damaged Souls

Good read with action mystery and lots of sex.
BDSM is the name of the game. Characters had rough uprisings which probably lead them to that lifestyle. Sad, but author showed 2 people who have an immediate attraction to each other. The handsome hero with the soulful eyes and the beautiful lady with all the curves plus a good heart ❤.
