I love this series so much
I'm sad knowing there's only one book left. I liked this one because rhea is different from her sisters and more confident in her powers. I wanted to hate veloura, i was so glad she was back, she might be my favorite now. I was cackling a lot, but especially at the end.

So good!

Entertaining, and yet...
I enjoyed the core of this retelling, but how is it, so far in the series, the writing gets worse? And again with the relationship between the FMC & MMC is contrite and unbelievable, I just can't with this series. If I skip over those parts, I'm tolerant of the ridiculous sections that made me roll my eyes hard.
Funny thing though, same narrator, but I didn't mind her this time. Her inflections were much better to weave this story.

The Best
In series a lot of times as the series goes on the books get less and less enjoyable, not in this case. Out of the six books so far 5 and 6 have been the best and this one was my favorite. It's the first one where I enjoyed her parts alone just as much separate, as I did when the couple are together. I really loved we get to see some old friends again and there more in this one. One of my favorites is not a person but an unforgettable object. You will never see how Rhea wins the day coming. My only problem was a slight annoyance at a miscommunication but it didn't last long. I will be listening to this again. Jesse's male voices and accents are some of the best I've heard. Loved it.
