Love and trust

Great continuation of the renegade saga. I really enjoyed the narrators, the flow of the story, and the realness of the characters. Some characters don’t do what we want, or take longer to get to their destiny, yarros does this beautifully.

Adrenaline packed series

I loved Nova’s story I’m this adrenaline fueled extreme action adventurous love story. Wonderful characters.

Better than I anticipated...

Landon was not super likable in Wilder’s book, other than knowing he was loyal to his original crew. Also learning of his earlier transgressions with Wilder/Rachel did not bode well. But his storyline here was actually pretty interesting and the author portrayed the strong chemistry/connection between Landon and Rachel very well. Even though we know of his previous background as a manwhore, there is no cheating in the current storyline portrayed! His poor past choices come up frequently, but that behavior stops abruptly when he finds out Rachel is back in the picture. She made him (rightfully!) grovel for a long time, but could ultimately not fight their connection. The storyline plot twists near the end were very interesting! I am looking forward to the last book with Penna! Erin Mallon was good as always, especially her male voice. Lee Samuels also fit his role very well. Great series!

Good but not great

I didn’t hate or love the main characters. She was hurt because he chose the Renagade and left her heartbroken. After he left her, he turned to other women for meaningless sex. He had women whom he slept with flirting in front of her. She kept telling herself the reason she didn’t want him back because he had broken her heart. Both characters were so frustrating, not to mentioned sex disease. That’s so gross and nothing desirable about this hero. It does not matter how gorgeous he was. It is just gross! There’s no love story or romance here. It’s just a man whore who thinks sleeping with other women was okay. Don’t let me say about the heroine, she was immature as he was. The whole story was about how he broke her and how many women he slept with. Yuck! Three stars for lee. He is one of my favorite readers. Muffy not so much.

not nearly as good as Wilder

maybe I'm too old for this story.
the main character, Rachel, supposed bad A$$, Rebel wanna Be and yet she is nothing but drama and self pity. we could have done with half of her whining and a lot more movement and action.
I got very tired of the female narrator as well.
not very happy that I spent a credit on this second book in the series. I am seriously considering walking away and just leaving book #3 for someone else to read!

The story was tired.

The main character spent too much time repeating the same problem over and over. This book could have been summed up in two hours. I couldn't finish it, I was so tired of hearing the same thing said over and over. He left me, didn't choose me, I can't trust him. He has slept with everyone. Sure he did, you were broken up for 2 1/2 years. Get over it. These words I know were repeated over 200 times in just the 6 hours I listened. Boring. I was bored with the first one but it had more of a plot line. So I decided to give the second one a chance. I won't spend any more money on this series. i suggest the author figure out a plot and stop assuming the readers can't understand how she feels.

I love this author but this book was painful to listen to. I almost gave up several times. Nova was great but Rachel (muffy) was painful to listen too. I usually don’t write review but had to with this book. Story was slow but otherwise ok.

Please stop saying “puckered forehead”

It was fine overall but not great. I have never heard the forehead described as puckered except for the rebel books, and I’m not a fan. Also, what is it with the heroines being so petite. I’m average height and honestly I’m tired of reading about only short women and towering men.
