Crooked Love
Two compelling characters in rigid Ryan, prosecutor, and empathetic defense attorney, Brett. The author crafts a marvellously twisting plot that builds to a perilous conclusion. She neatly builds a blossoming love between two unlikely lovers. This is great story telling and two delicious characters. Well done!

Excellent
Carsen Taite tells a wonderful story and you feel as though you know her characters. She has done a fantastic job of weaving a very entertaining tale and I would recommend it to all. The narration was very well done.

Not what I expected.
I feel slightly mislead by the careful wording of the synopsis. I kept expecting some earth shaking event that never really happened until the very end and then not even close to the one I had anticipated. while the story and romance was interesting it wasn't compelling. I liked the charecters but it seemed almost too easy.
the narrator was fine mostly except when it came to the side charecters. I don't know what affectation she was going for but they all sounded like super stoned dudes.
