UTTERLY FANTASTIC

NOT HER GARGOYLE is the fifth book in the Not This series. Though each will stand alone and I have read them out of order, I recommend reading them all and in the order of release for maximum enjoyment. Reading Not Her Gargoyle has me finally caught up with the series and I’ll now be reading them as they release.

What I love most about this story is that not everyone has to be rich to fall in love. Two people down on their luck and struggling to get by are made better by finding one another.

The wit, the sarcasm, the fun, the love, the families, and the over-the-top dragon that is Eion all made for a fantastic and enjoyable read (listen) that had the headphones on while I worked instead of just during my drive.

Narration: B.J. Harrison is the voice of the NOT THIS series; I can’t imagine anyone else bringing our favorite characters to life as he does.

Ruby & Nick

Everyone has left Ruby, even her sister Trixie. Nick needs a place to hide and returns to the sister's apartment. Nick is ready to step on the straight and narrow, with the help of a magical amulet and Ruby. The trouble begins! A fun read.

Fantastic

I loved this book! It was funny and had just the right amount of seriousness and sexiness to not be silly. Looking forward to listening to more books by this author.

"I never asked you to..."

Love this book, and love the audio book even more, the reader really does a great job bringing the story even more to life, you get vested in whats happening to Ruby and Nick even more, and the end makes it even better. True love is never easy, and sometimes it takes almost losing it to realize what you have! definitely a great listen in long commutes or if you have one of those great jobs where you can listen to what ever you want! though its not exactly work safe, but then again love never is!

Wonderful story!

Another great book by this Arthur!! Loved the main characters in this one Ruby a human and Nick a gargoyle. Kept me smiling as I listened to this audiobook. fast paced plenty of action and romance with a good bit of humor thrown in. It can be a standalone but if you can listen to the others in the series I would it makes it more enjoyable to see where the other characters come in from . well worth listening.B. J. Harrison did a wonderful job narrating as well made it a pleasant experience.

Great series

I am in love with this series! It reminds me of the nocturne falls series. I cant get enough of either!

Not Her Gargoyle

I'll admit it, from her portrayal in earlier books, I didn't care for Ruby and wasn't sure that I would like her story. I'm glad that I gave her a chance. Nick and Ruby were a fun story. While just trying to get by and improve their lives, the make bad decisions that lead them in humerous situations.

Nicks brothers were such a fun group. Like typical siblings, they love harassing each other but when push comes to shove, they have each other's backs.

Another great performance by narrator B. J. Harrison.

Love finds two thieves

This book wasn’t the funniest one I’ve ever read, but it makes up for it in the care and help from neighbors and friends. There is no specific villain here except for poverty, and although having a real effect, the characters free themselves from the effects. For once, there is no rich hero here; instead, Ruby and Nick embrace their vagabond true selves. Lighthearted paranormal romance at its best.

So her Gargoyle

This book is a hoot. If I didn’t know you could mess up something so many times it would have lacked some appeal. Nick and Ruby just can’t seem to get things right well more so Nick, when the hell is he going to learn not to annoy the dragons. This book had me laughing, groaning at some of the stupidity but wow was it a great read/listen.
Ruby is down on her luck and can’t seem to find mister right whilst her sister is a new vampire and with her vampire boyfriend. Her best friend is now a werewolf shifter and with her mate, why can’t Ruby find someone.
Nick is a gargoyle who is over making mistakes and just wants to try and have a go at making the right choices, but as we find out making those choices are a lot more difficult then he realises.
And my gosh his brothers well let’s just say there is brotherly love there. I love how the book ends but I’m curious as to if the book gets destroyed. Guessing that one may be in another book. Anyway if you love Annie Nicholas books then this is another great read/listen by her. I recommend this book all the way.

Quirky funny and sexy. This series has become one of my go to listens for when I'm working or doing chores around the house.I'm steadily working my way through all the available audiobooks in the series . Loved this one, I can hardly wait till not her Dragon comes out on audio as well.
