Very Entertaining

If you've listened to the first 2 books and been annoyed at how often the mc beats himself up over what happened to his wife (NOT a spoiler, I promise) you'll be happy to know that there's been a lot less of that in this book.

Overall this book has been a great distraction while doing chores, running errands, and walking the dog. In terms of learning new things to survive a shtf situation, the only useful info is what NOT to do if you want to survive. I find myself yelling out loud on a regular basis at the main characters for their stupid decisions. But I guess that means that I'm pretty hooked on the story and care a great deal about the survival of the characters, so obviously author did something right. I just wish these characters would stop being such morons.

Great narration but naive inept main character makes this frustrating

I’ve enjoyed this series and like this author but it’s frustrating when the main male character is kind of a sissy. The author has to know that the type of people (like me) that read these types of PA books have little use for naive and inept characters. Every one else around Will seem to have more balls than he does and it’s kind of cringe worthy at times and not in a good way. I don’t like reading books where the main character is such a wimp. Not sure if I’ll continue this series because of that.

Loves the series

I really enjoyed this entire series and will definitely be checking out more by this author in the near future!!

Post Apocalyptic Masterpiece

This continuation to the Fall of Houston series is another, edge of your seat storyline. The author draws you in with stress, anger, love, and even hope. It is a must read in this series.

One of my favorite new authors, great character, development, action pack stories. You definitely want to read this series.

don't waste your money on a tease. purposely written short so you have to come back. he put half the words in each book but charges the same price.....

What happened to TL Payne?

Maybe it’s because the narrator isn’t Kevin Pierce…

Maybe it’s because I’ve listened to so many of these PA books.

I don’t know but the ineptness of the characters makes me crazy!

Main character we KNOW you have a son. We know you are worried but DEAR GOD do you have to remind us (aka repeat your story line) over and over and over (I’m talking to you “TL”.)

And maybe it was how I was raised but WHY DO PEOPLE QUESTION EVERY DIRECTION/ORDER GIVEN? The sappy females… I’m a female and when Gus said “what do I do they are standing in the road” I’m hollering “RUN THEM OVER THEY WANT YOUR FREAKIN TRUCK” but the girls in the truck “ohhhh no!!”

Grrrrrr two positives…
1) my deal with stupid people meds were just refilled
2) it was a free (although PAINFUL) listen
