If you love watching Lifetime movies. you will like this book. Fantastic plot and good characters.

Great road trip book

Both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book on our road-trip to Florida. Narration is great; I really appreciate that all three narrators were equally talented. Story is engaging and fun.

amazing

I loved every twist and turn and crazy turn around! very unique, one of a kind in in opinion, I am a diehard murder mystery and this book took me to holding on to every word!

A Great Mystery Thriller

Mystery thrillers can be hit or miss for me. Some work, some don’t . This one did for the most part. I believe there might be one hole in the plot, but I’m probably wrong. The story is a journey and I was grateful when it was over, as it leans into some really undesirable aspects of our society at large. It kept me guessing and that’s really what a mystery should do. This is Kat Rosenfields first novel and I hope her future efforts continue to be as clever and well written as this was. I don’t understand why the narration was divided between three but they do fine, if not really complementing each other. I actually only thought there were two, but I just saw three are credited. I feel it would have been better with just one. All in all, though, I recommend it.

Easy listen, but plot line not believable

Spoiler alert - very good twist but then went down a path that I was just not buying. Overall I enjoyed the theme of labeling people, never being able to shake the past, biases leading to false assumptions -all good. It’s hard to like a book when not one single character has any redeeming qualities.

Strange, but delightful!

Perhaps one of the strangest outcomes the reader could imagine, but this was a good listen! The reader must suspend a bit of common sense and buy into some of the details, but I was able to make that stretch. Doing so allows for a truly delightful story to unfold - just don't ask too many questions.

Amazing twists and turns, listened in 24hrs. Could not put it down. Storyline, narration….all spot on. Must pay attention to the details!

Good if you suspend disbelief a bit

I very much enjoyed this book. Without giving any spoilers, it does veer into the not-quite-believable category. However, the twists are great, the writing and character development are excellent, and the performances very good. Definitely worth a listen if you are a fan of slow-burn thrillers.
