Enjoyable
I really liked the narration by MBB despite others who did not like it for whatever reason. It's a sweet love story and I really enjoyed listening to the entire book. I thought it was slightly predictable, but, nonetheless, worth the read.

The powerful resilience of the characters!
The Character development and historical references were excellent. Describing the Bethnal Green Tube Disaster, the air raids, the tube shelter,and the horrors of the war on innocent people was captivating. The love triangle and morality and strength of the characters was touching. I would definitely recommend to not only young adult readers but to everyone. Sweet read!

Chocked full of delights
Thrilled that Millie Bobby Brown narrated and shared this family story, giving an immersive experience into British civilian life during WWII. Loved her use of accents and expressions which kept the characters realistic and added to the tug at our hearts as we too experienced these worlds collide in war and in love. She’s too adorable, and this story makes you glad to be alive.

So sweet!
When you find real friends that love you and just want you to be happy. This is a ww2 book, but the friendships are what had me sobbing as I was listening to this cleaning my house or running because I couldn’t still 😂. What a great book!

True Love: a war story of what was lost and then found.
Nothing I can really say about disliking this book because I loved this book. I loved that it was narrated by the Author Millie Bobby Brown. Millie is such refreshingly bright and lovely young woman. I’m glad I got this book through Audible because it made the story so much more interesting hearing it being read by Millie herself. I thought it was a beautiful story and very well read. No spoilers here just my honest opinion and I hope that it gets turned into movie starring the author Millie Bobby Brown as the main character Nellie.
