Unique Story With Humor and Spice

Nine Month Contract is part of a new series by Amy Daws and I cannot wait to read more! Nine Month Contract is Wyatt, is a hot, grumpy mountain man who wants to be a single dad. He is a man of few words who loves his pet goat. Trista, is an animal lover who is trying to be a surrogate so that she can make money for the animal rescue she wants to open. After interviewing multiple candidates the surrogate agency cannot find a match for Wyatt. Wyatt’s niece, Everly isn’t going to take no for an answer and as luck would have it, when she went to speak with the agency, she ran right into Trista. Well kind of more the other way around, Trista ran into her with a door. Everly immediately knew that not only would Trista make the perfect surrogate, but she could be perfect for Wyatt in general.
I loved this book! The story is unique, it’s not often we hear a story about an aspiring single father. Trista’s love for animals over people was so relatable. Any time a book can not only make me laugh, but cry as well, it’s a hit for me! All of the feels.
The audio was incredible! Nine Month Contract is a duet narrated audiobook with Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton bringing the characters to life. If you have ever read anything that they narrate, then you already know they are both incredible, and this book was no exception. Erin’s light and carefree voice brought Trista to life perfectly. Teddy has the perfect mountain man voice, I didn’t even realize that was a thing until now, but his serious, grumpy, no nonsense voice was perfect for Wyatt. The two were able to take an already incredible story, and make it even better!

Beautiful love story

I loved this story! The narrators are absolutely amazing, this story was so fun and touching and I cried at the end. Addictive and exciting 10/10 recommend!

I can't believe I had never heard of or read Amy Daws before, because this was on the funniest, heartwarming, & steamiest books this summer! I absolutely LOVED it! I'm definitely adding her backlist to my TBR!

It's full of hilarious laughter, a close knit family, a strong female lead, & insane chemistry! Mountain men are filthy, SHEESH! It was such a different and unique story, and was such a fun read/listen.

Great characters,story and narrators

I loved everything about this audiobook. The dual narration was amazing. I could not wait to see how it ended but did not want it to end.

The narrator was distracting

Tristas narration was too animated. It thew me off. It didn’t match the energy of the character. There was too much emphasis in her words.

Spicy, Funny & Sweet!

yes, of course it’s predictable but it was a really good read! spicy, funny and sweet. the way wyatt protects trista at all costs.

Fun and love

This book gives off love and comedy 😃 all together. The banter was great. Loved the narrators together.

So Corny…and I loved it.

It’s as cheesy as a Christmas movie with the literal perfect man, animal rescuer, doting dad/uncle, likely yet unlikely romance, but lots of spice. Literally as the story went along I was laughing about how “perfect” the author made the made male character….It’s FUNNY & Sexy. Perfect for curvy girls who want to hear about their curves being appreciated. Couldn’t have been better for a corny Christmas movie enthusiast that also likes spice.

Body positive, great characters and narration!

Amy Daws is one of the few authors who writes curvy plus sized women as the main characters, and I’m so hear for it! This book also centers around surrogacy and important topics. Love the characters and narration. This is my first Amy Daws book, but will definitely be reading more!
