the narration

was jarring. this murderous take was narrated with what cane across to me as a child's voice. took some getting used to. the story was great. lots of family drama.

The second book

I could not listen to voice that was telling the story. Good thing I have the book and had already read it. Love the hold series.

SO HOT!

I'm in love with this whole series. Nikolai is my favorite character! Love the narrator’s style, Russian accent and different character voices. SO HOT! Now I want book 3! Thank you Roxie Rivera!

Hmm

I love this story. However, I couldn't really understand the narrator and some of the parts she sounded off. For instance, the moaning parts were just sounded out. I'm listening to a story, not make em say uhh by Master P. Some of the names she said very strangely too so I didn't know who she was talking about until it clicked in my own head. I read the story before so I was able to remember some. Otherwise I would have quit listening because of the narrator.

love the story, but narration..

while I love this storyline, I am not a fan of the narration. I would have preferred Pinky narrate this story too. I am not a fan of this one.

Just my opinion

I love this book series. However, this particular narrator is not my favorite. I was very disappointed that I could not actually enjoy the book being narrated to me. If I hadn’t read the book prior to listening, I don’t think I could have made it through the book.

I really liked the story, complex and sensual. I didn't care for the narrator. She was hard to understand at times and garbled a lot of words. It was challenging to follow the story at times

Terrible Narration

I have enjoyed all previous books in this series, but almost did not listen to this one when I heard the narrator. Good book. Very bad narration.

Was skeptical but really liked it!

I was skeptical at first because of the reviews below but after several chapters I liked it! I really enjoyed the narrator’s style and perspective, her reading brought so much life to the story for me. These books are about hot Russian guys and light Russian accent is a must! People complained about fake Russian accent in the previous audiobooks - Roxie Rivera delivers a narrator with the hot voice and native light Russian accent! FIVE STARS TO THE ROXIE RIVERA'S TEAM

Need a new Narrator

Very hard to understand, I had to slow it down so I could follow along. Great story, just need a different narrator.
