This audiobook pulled me in fast. The push and pull between Wren and Archer was addictive — both of them fiercely protective of the people they love, craving the safety and security they’ve never truly had. Their chemistry? Off the charts. But what really stood out was the emotional weight behind it — the jaded pasts, the dangerous affiliations, and the high walls they’ve built around their hearts.

I loved how layered the story was — the danger, the secret identity, the tension with the other MCs — it all added depth and suspense without ever overshadowing the romance. And as soon as Juan, Taylor, and Kyle entered the scene, I knew I needed more. When I found out their backstories are in the Rake Forge University series? Yeah… I’m now happily ignoring my TBR and diving headfirst into that world.

🎙️ The narration by Jeremy Gardner and Jaqueline Sol was fantastic — gritty, emotional, and perfectly matched to the tone of the story. Each brought the characters to life with intensity and heart.

Rival Club Family’s

Wren is just trying to give her son the best life without the drama of her past. As the daughter of a late motorcycle club president and then her brother is the new one, she never felt safe from that lifestyle. Moving away was the best thing to do for her son and herself. Being a single mom, she really has succeeded. She helps sell model homes and answer questions for potential clients.

Archer just moved next door but she instantly is turned off because he seems grumpy and cold to her but in reality he knew she was trouble for him. She was pure and perfect and that wasn’t in his game plan. He plans on keeping his head down as a president of his motorcycle club so he can get the rights to adopt his little brother.

Archer’s brother is classmates with Wren’s son and they hit it off. With hesitation, Wren allows Archer slowly into her bubble. They realize they have a spark and are both willing to move forward with their relationship. Then the real hurtle of their success of a couple comes into play when family and rival clubs interfere!

This was a great start to this series! I’m Excited to see what happens next! Also, LOVED the audio narrators!! They were phenomenal.

I listened to this entire book in my car, and I’m not exaggerating when I say I cried the entire ride. It wasn’t just a tear or two—it was the kind of crying that comes from feeling every ounce of a character’s pain. Ashley Munoz didn’t just tell a story; she poured raw humanity onto the page and into the audio. The emotional weight, the heartbreak, the love, the loss—it all stayed with me long after I hit pause.

This book broke me, healed me, and then broke me again. It’s a story of resilience, grief, and how trauma leaves fingerprints on every relationship—but also how love can still find its way through the cracks.

Secret Identities and Slow Burn Spice🔥

(⭐️4.5) Great story, the narrators were good but not my favorite, there were questions left open that I expect answers in future books but it was a good HEA for the main couple!

Narrator Ruined

Was super excited and bought this title on Day 1 and am sadly very disappointed. Male narrator did not have a great voice for an MC Pres.
I am a fan of this author and am normally really enjoy her work. The story could have been interesting but although different very slow. Not worth the credit

Not as good as the others

Maybe it’s because I love the other books so much but this one just didn’t match up— I couldn’t fall in love the the characters as much as I did with her other books before this. Also I didn’t love the male voice actor, not sexy enough lol! Looking forward for what she puts out next!
