Liz is busy with her B&B when a murder is committed down the road from her. She had just done a tv special about her B&B and had met a group of young people who were just on the verge of selling an app they invented. The group had rented a place and were enjoying their down time before the big sale. The group minus one went out to the local colorful diner to eat. While they were gone, the main inventor, a young woman, is murdered. The local police captain asks Liz for help then unfortunately the old captain returns wanting his job back. When the captain and his assistant become ill he tries to take over the investigation and grabbing the detective sent to help, while Michael and his assistant are recovering turns, he turns him against Liz. Now it's up to Liz to solve the murder.
Kasey Logan brings Liz and her friends, and enemies, to life. Her voice entices the listener fully into the story.
Fantastic audio and story!

Fast paced and wonderful

This one really sucked me in from the very beginning. I love how it was all set up. I recommend this to anyone, even if you’ve never read the author’s work before. Jump on in. It was easy to get into the characters and their personalities. I was so sad for the victim and how her family had treated her. All throughout the book I kept thinking it was one of two people. I was wrong.

The dogs added an extra special something to the story. I always love seeing the dogs in this series. If you like audiobooks, try this one. It’s even better listening. The narrator did a good job.

She had the biggest percent of this app, in this techie group, then brought the rest of them together. Each would be getting millions. Was it a burglary gone wrong for her, or murder. They were young kids, or was it greed wanting more . Her books are always easy to read, and to figure out, what and who did the murder.
Great narration by Kasey added to the story.

A well-written story from a very good author

Murdered for Millions: A Liz Lucas Cozy Mystery (Liz Lucas Cozy Mystery Series #13), my second read/listen from author Dianne Harman in the last 10 days, Well-written & enjoyable. a cute, clean cozy mystery, the thirteenth book in this series and my first read in the series. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. I was impressed and enjoyed the vocal variety & inflections of narrator Kasey Logan. I look forward to reading more in this series & from this author, my only question is why did I wait so long to read this author? Why, why, WHY? (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Techie Cozy Murder

Very enjoyable cozy mystery! Nice short listen at just over 4 hours. Kept you guessing who dun it until the final chapters. Didn’t care for the narrator. A bit robotic. Every chapter pulled you along through the story with action at the end of the book that kept you wanting to listen to find out the ending! Great author for cozy mysteries!

Fun cozy mystery

Murdered for Millions is a fun who-dun-it cozy mystery. The author keeps the stories fresh and the characters believable. Add in a couple of adorable canines and this series is a hit. The he narrator gives a wonderful performance.

Another good read from Dianne in her Liz Lucas series, with an entertaining cast of ruffians, snobs and dogs.

Liz is at it again

Although Liz tried hard to stay out of the investigation, she found herself right in it. Glad to see Seth was finally booted out. This was a good murder mystery. I like the dogs playing small roles throughout the story and the recipes at the end. This murder was all about greed.

loved this read!

loved the storyline and the narrator did a great job. I was caught up within moments of starting this book. I love a mystery with interesting characters.
