great narration; good story
i think merlington is the best narrator of the series; story was good not great/. and it still (all these books in!) bothers me that maureen has replaced adele and i'll never get over it hahah. i wish they would just switch back (like they did in one book). no one would complain! but overall story was good, love the cabot cove based stories generally.

Quaint, cozy and clean as this “Murder, She Wrote Series” always is.
The narrator sounded like a robot at times. In other novels in this series, her narration seemed better; Maybe the sentences being lengthy contributed to her narration. When a character spoke, the narration was somewhat better. The novel was slow in the beginning, and became more interesting toward the latter chapters.

Love these books
Never can get enough of these. I wish they'd go back and release the audio versions of the earlier ones as well that aren't available on audible. Still, I'll keep getting each one that gets released here!

No foul language.
I love these clean mystery stories and the narrator. She is my favorite! Also I didn't figure it out till the end.

Terrible mystery
Apparently jessica fletcher left all her smarts and powers of observation at home. The murder was obvious. The killer was obvious and jessica was oblivious. Lots of side characters that went no where and did nothing to promote the story. Skip this one. It was bad.

Disappointing
The story seemed drug out, and the development of the plot was weak. Too much time spent on frivolous subplot of Christmas celebration plans. The ending was heart warming.
