Good!

I really liked this book, but I think book 2 is better. This one kid really good though. The plot and storyline are excellent and the narration is too. I felt like it dragged a little in the middle, but stick it out, it’s worth it!

Marni’s best work yet!

I’m calling it! This is absolutely 100% my new fave Marni book. It was sweet, it was sexy, it was swoony, it was EVERYTHING. I loved everything about it.

The connection between Drake and Easton was written absolutely perfect. It was SO dang refreshing to see an honest and open relationship between two characters.

Easton - that MAN is the swooniest man ever but will also bring you to your knees (literally and figuratively) with his dirty mouth 🤭

This book also ties into The Intern so it was nice to see my man Declan 🥰🥰

🎧 Narration: both narrators were new for me so it took me a little bit to get into their flow but overall it was well done & i enjoyed the dual narration. i liked how cocky the male narrator made easton’s natural voice but how soft he made it when he spoke to drake. the female narrator had an excellent range of emotions & i was impressed with her during the spice scenes.

this was a very highly anticipated release for me. i absolutely love marni’s books & this one did not disappoint. easton & drake were such a fun read. i liked the dual timeline & the way the second chance blossomed. workplace romances are my favorite & this one was *elite.* easton & drake had the best banter too. i loved the way he was so confident in her & always let her shine. ugh, it was just excellent & the spice was 🔥🥵. absolutely slayed. i can’t wait to read more in this series!

Funny and easy audiobook

This audiobook was so funny. I will always love pen pals trope, specially with text messages!
The performance was great and the MC were so hot together!!

Reuniting-Second Chance ♥️📲💬💙

If you enjoy secret trysts with a second chance romance, this is a good book for you. There is so much mystery around Drake and Easton’s first meeting, and when they come back into each other’s orbit, the story gets really good.

There is a lot to tech start up and real world situations. I can totally see this as a story for today’s world. It was a good story.

I enjoyed the voice of Drake more than I did the voice of Easton. Both narrators did an OK job, and the story was easy to listen to.

The audio may have skewed my overall view of this story, I hard a hard time with Alexander Cendese's female voice... But I did mostly enjoy this story. It was a cute second chance, forbidden romance with no third act breakup. I liked the characters and plot and I am looking forward to the second book which is coming soon.

Love this!

Really enjoyed how Drake and Easton meet in the beginning with no names exchanged. It killed me when it flashed forward to five years later! But it all worked out and I loved them so much! Easton was the best and so caring!

Loved this novel!

Loved the novel: overall plot and characters. Spice was TOP NOTCH! Narration was okay. Took a minute to get used to the narrators but that could be bc they’re new to me. Overall, a great experience!

This was a great book ! It’s the first book by Marni Mann that I’ve read, but it definitely won’t be the last
