Realistic mid-level angst MM Christmas Romance

This was a sweet story about two friends who grow up and fall in love with each other without the other knowing. The story is mid to low angst and a coming of age story with two gay men who have fathers that struggle accepting their sons for who they are. Definitely a realistic story with great character depth and narration!

Perfection…!!!

Perfect holiday feel-good story. Had my full attention from beginning to the end. Loved that the story wrapped up with no cliff hanger with all in a good place.

Great Story

I received an ARC of this audio for my honest review. I enjoyed this story that opposites attract. This story finds Casey who is from a wealthy family and Joel who grew up on the wrong side of money. Casey had liked Joel since they were kids and when he graduated high school he went away to college and didn't stay in touch with Joel as he felt he would be better off. Joel is running the family business after his father went into a nursing home. When Casey comes back home for the holidays things heat up between him and Joel and they quickly become lovers.

Feel good story

Great story line and has it’s sexy moments but also has its good moments as well. Very relatable!

I loved how these two were able to work on their issues together, and ended up happy.

This was one of the best books I've listened to this year. It had a really great story. John Solo the vocal artist was outstanding, he didn't just read the book he made it sound like he was living it. I always have to speed up my books, this was as 1.25x .

Stupendo

La storia è meravigliosa, quello che succede ai due ragazzi è anche la triste verità nella realtà.
La fortuna di Casey è che suo padre lo conosce molto bene e sa quanto possa essere testardo, ha capito subito che l’amore per Joel è vero e che non vi rinuncerà mai.
La sfortuna di Joel è di avere un padre mostruoso che non lo ha mai amato, doloroso vedere questo ragazzo, che nonostante le botte che prende, comunque continua a curare suo padre anche dopo che va in una casa di cura.
La salvezza per Joel arriva proprio da Casey, i ragazzi già si conoscevano da quando erano piccoli, poi le strade per loro si sono divise.
Ricchezza Casey e povertà Joel si rincontrano e ricomincia quella storia d’amore sognata da entrambi, sin da piccoli, che neanche la lontananza è riuscita a distruggere.
Molto belli i personaggi di Becca e RJ i loro migliori amici, Becca è la confidente di Joel, quando si sente a pezzi o comunque ha voglia di sfogarsi c’è la magnifica Becca.
P.S. mi piacerebbe avere amici, quelli veri, così.
Complimenti per il recitativo di John Solo veramente bravo, ha caratterizzato ogni personaggio in maniera esemplare.
