The overall message of this audiobook is this: Victory is realistic and within our grasp no matter the violation. As a sexual abuse survivor, I know that true and lasting healing from sexual trauma involves a recognition of the importance of both the physical and spiritual dimensions of wholeness.
What’s unique about this audiobook, and what I haven’t personally encountered in any other book or through any other counseling in the 35 years I’ve been on this journey, is that the physical is tethered to the spiritual. Not only do we need to renew our minds and recover our hearts, but we must also retrain our bodies.
