Anxiety is not sin
The author has legalistic thoughts on anxiety being a sin. Although Paul says not to worry we see nowhere in Torah that God deems anxiety to be sin. It is not good for us, but I do not believe Paul claims it to be sin just because he uses a particular verb tense in the Greek. If you can get past those bones there is good meat in the rest of the book.
