I am enjoying this would you call it a spin off from the main series!

The Love Story💕

I’m new to Helen Hardt. But this is only the beginning. Holy Crap- I never dreamed this book would be this GOOD!! I’m following her now, and looking forward to my next read. If you haven’t experienced this author, trust me- you will not be sorry.

On the fence!!

I liked the original Wolfe series and this is a continuation and update of both Z and one of the captives, Kaitlyn's story. Definitely do not ignore the subject matter warnings at the beginning of the story. I love MacKenzie and John Lane as narrators whether together or with other narrators. The story at times is a little too dark and sad for me as you might expect when you think about someone being held captive for over 10 years. The relationship between Luke and Kaitlyn was strong which was good, and Kaitlyn was stronger than she realized which is something else I liked. I finished this one but I did fast forward on some chapters when they were too much for me. I endured because of the author and narration. A few surprises in the story too. Overall I didn't hate it but I won't be adding this one to my favorites. We don't get our HEA just yet; but I'll keep moving forward and look for the next book in this saga.
