The main character is a virtual game developer, who forces his way into the game. His character is a beetle who has lost his memory and doesn't consider himself a monster.
He begins to upgrade his skills and get different achievements. He's trying to get to the truth as he pieces together shards of his memories, which he can't completely trust. As his intelligence grows, his memories are coming back.
The realm he falls into is an underground world, which consists of 10 levels, with different caves, tunnels, and monsters.
The dungeons are full of hostile beetles of different types, forms, and sizes. There are a clear hierarchy and division between them. At the same time, two endless wars are going on: one between monsters' clans, and the other between monsters and humans.

My life was ordinary, but never boring. That is, until a colossal tower landed smack-dab in the middle of the city. What should have followed was mass panic and hysteria, but I never got to that part. Why? Simple. I was taken along with 99,999 other people from Earth and dropped onto an unknown world. Honestly not bad.
With all the reviews about bad translation I expected it to be immertion breaking but I barley noticed really. Aside from some inconsistencies about name pronunciation and skill names it wasn't to bad. Seemed like the errors tapered out by the end of the book. As if the translator was getting better as he worked through the book, but didn't bother going back through it once he finished.
Aside from all that the story is genuinely interesting. No overpowered game breaking cheats or anything. Just being smart and thinking his way out of most situations. Refreshing considering how many stories I've listened to with a moron with the potential to rule the world, but can't tie his shoe laces without backup and a three step plan drawn in crayon.

Cool idea but story could be better.
Litrpg as monster is a neat idea just wish more to story. Just a lot names for stuff made up when could have just used well established item names/powers. Worth time to read and i would read next one.

Really bad translation
This a good story, but the translation is horrible and inconsistent. Sometimes it is barely noticeable and then it gets almost painful to listen to, and it gets worse as it goes on. "She father upset to great extent, she stubborn to great degree as she mother. "
