Turbulence The Reason I Love Audiobooks

10 ½ hours never went by so fast! This story engages you immediately and it never lets you go. Whitney G pens a story that makes you laugh, cry and cringe. Be warned though some may not like this story because Jake is… well… a major dick! He has some serious long-standing baggage. Somehow though I never once felt the slightest dislike for his character. It was a nice surprise that Jillian was no pushover either, she confronts him at every turn and refuses to let him push her away or put up with his antics for too long.

Turbulence is a dual narration by Erin Mallon, and Joe Arden. Erin voices the lion’s share of this audiobook. She is one of the best when it comes to voicing the alpha male. Voicing both genders well is truly a skill that few possess. More than that though, Erin has a wide variety of character voices she acts out. I really got a kick out of her reading of the side character Alicia Connors, it’s pure perfection!

I can’t leave out Joe Arden, he has a voice to die for and the raw emotion that he can bring to the characters are amazing and sometimes frightening. When the character he’s voicing says to “get the hell out, now”, I swear I almost grabbed my keys to leave!

Turbulence is my first listen for author Whitney G, it will not be my last. This was a fantastic story and told well. It’s audiobooks like this that remind me why I love them so much! This will definitely be a repeat listen.

Great performance of Erin and Joe!! love the emotions they evoke with their narration.. they really made me feel all the emotions the characters where going through.. looking forward to hear more of their work..

Jake, was emotional unavailable for any women around the world, with so many problems and a past that keeps creeping into his life, he only wants to sleep around but never compromise.. he was handsome, sexy and great in bed.. he was a pilot and also a millionaire.. with a hidden past that just a few knew..

Gillian was trying to get rid of her family shadow.. she only wanted to be successful in what she loved the most. working in two jobs, living in a not so fancy apartment and sometimes even trespassing some of her employers property, her life is complicated, her family doesn't even care about her dreams and never support her and her boyfriend keeps cheating on her..

After finding her boyfriend has been cheating on her, Gillian, takes the advice of her bestfriend... never having a one night stand, Gillian takes the challenge thinking this will help her to be more adventurous and meet other men.. but she never thought she was about to meet him, and that her life was about to change forever..

one night that lead her and him to the most epic love...

Jake is convinced that everybody is a liar and cheater, he cant trust anyone, he prefers to leaves his life as it is, alone, without letting anybody In.. but nothing is written and life is about to change...

This is a love story that takes some time to built.. both characters are fighting with a past and a future that seems always trying to bring them down.. but as we continue reading the story, we get to understand more about their fears and past problems.. Jakes family made some moves that really affected Jakes life.. Gillians Family too, trying to emotionally sabotage her at all times... both need to fight their demons as is the only way they will finally be able to be together..

great story, the characters where amazing, i love how we get to see how much they needed each other but always tried to denied their feelings.. the sex was off the chart and the dirty talk was hot..

lots of funny moments, i really recommend this book..

WOW!

So, I have to say I didn't think I was going to like this book. It was confusing at first. But once I got past the gate chapters and truly got into the story, it was amazing. I loved the two main characters and enjoyed the "Turbulence" throughout the book. I am looking for another Whitney G book right now.

The mile high club is nothing compared to this

loved this. It makes me want to become an airline hostess and join the mile high club.

5 STARS Across the Board

Jake is one arrogant, sarcastic, condescending, dirty-talking MF. I FREAKING LOVED this book! The back and forth of Jake and Gillian's "relationship" will drive you CRAZY but it's forbidden, intense, fu*ked-up, and fu*king H-O-T.

Hot and bothered...

Loved the story line.. not your everyday romance but let’s you see the struggle within the characters while seeing how he changes , all this in a hot and steamy story

I hate Jake!

This is an interesting book. Reason I finished it was because I had already so many hours listening it. I hate how condescending Jake was. I just couldn’t stand it. However, I have to admit, i liked the ending.

Rough Flight Full of Love

Whitney G. delivers another touching love story full of a tortured Alpha and the woman who saves his soul with love. Ms. G. penned a beautifully well-written story, with excellent plot twists and turns that will keep you intrigued and entertained.

Erin Mallon and Joe Arden once again delivers a fabulous performance.They bring the characters and story to life from the pages to your ears. I loved it!!

I LOVED this book so much!!!

I absolutely adored this book!
It starts off so funny. The main male character is hilariously sarcastic and crass. He says what he wants to whomever he wants and doesn’t hold back. It’s great. And Joe Arden plays his character perfectly! He’s one of my all time favorite narrators!
The two main characters have an instant connection and attraction. They are drawn to each other like magnets. But when two people are that magnetic theres usually some drama that goes with it. I liked the mix of humor, hot AF scenes, drama, side stories, it all works so well and I didn’t want to turn this book off. It’s really so good!
Erin Mallon did a fabulous job as well w/ her character.
I really hope there will be more books and we get to see this couple again.
