Short but very good

This book is short, but it’s very good and if you haven’t listened to any of the books in this series yet you could still listen to this one, but know that you can get the first three books in a collection and the whole series is a lot of fun

He is a shifter’s council enforcer who also happens to be a self avowed mamma’s-boy. Her druggy mother sold her to a sadistic monster when she was 14. It took 5 years to be able to escape from his cages. She can’t bear to be around almost anyone and she can’t bear to be touched. What happens between them is magical and at times scary. A moving book. As an aside, I believe that if shifters were real there would definitely be people like the “collector” and people who wouldn’t accept that shifters were not just dirty animals unworthy of any rights whatsoever.

Well, that was just totes adorable! Matteo is a tiger shifter with charm and an Italian momma.
Which, of course, means mothering, smothering, and delicious care packages.
The mother son dynamic duo of family goals is just what a broken and betrayed lynx shifter needs. Bolognese and an HEA. Yummy, all around!

I was caught up in the story from beginning to end
