Fascinating fast paced story

The story of Sasha had me at the edge of my seat through the whole story. It’s funny and exciting like a good thriller with a little but of romance thrown in.
The narrator does a great job at bringing each character to life.

I love this series!

The only thing that I can’t seems to overlook is the telling of the story. Mrs. Durante is awesome for the girl parts of the story but the male parts, I’d rather someone else! That’s my only complaint

I'm hooked!

I can't stop listening to Sasha Urban. She's awesome! I love how the book is perfectly paced so you are with her as she grows in her powers. I wonder if she's going to get a second power?? Nero messed up this round. I can't wait to find out what he is. This book is the 2nd book in the Sasha Urban series. It's best read after the first book titles after the series.
Emily Durante does a fantastic job narrating. She was very appropriate for the characters and brought the book to life.

Great again!

Your first book was great and this one topped the first. I liked how you incorporated the other characters a little more. Looking forward to deeper looks on the other characters and finding out more on our protagonists unknown past.

Where is this going?

At this point in the series, I thought it was all very interesting but was wondering where things were going and why it was taking so long to get there. After listening to the rest of the series, I'm completely blown away! The pace definitely gets even faster from the next book and the reveals keep coming. I'm giving this book 4 stars because I still think book 1 and 2 could have been combined, or they could have at least each been a bit shorter.

great second book

loved it, can't wait to listen to the next one. the premise of the series was odd to me at first, however by the end of book 1 I was hooked.

A great continuation

I find this even better than first novel and am excited for the 3rd installment. I love Nero and Felix is a sweetheart. The characters are fantastic and it has become one of my favorite series. I cannot wait to see how things progress for Sasha and I find the twist of Grigori Rasputin being added as a possible ancestral link fascinating. Bring on the third novel, way to go Zales, brilliantly done.

Great sequel

Storyline keeps you wondering what will happen next. Many cliff hangers. Cant wait to read the next book.

Life gets interesting

It’s the morning after her Jubilee Party and Sasha’s hangover is notable. She’s now an official member of the Cognizant society with her boss Nero as her official mentor. He pushes Sasha farther and farther, but he’s no Mr Miyage. When will Sasha decide to push back?
Then there are the multiple attempts on Sasha’s life and the mystery of her birth parents to try and unravel. Could her domovoi Fluffster hold some of the answers? Can Baba Yaga unlock some of his history? Is the possibility worth the risk of Sasha making a deal with her? Life sure has gotten interesting since Sasha was outed as a Seer and sworn into Cognizant society.
Durante does a decent job of narration.
