LGBTQ Themes
I really liked this audio book until LGBTQ themes were introduced. I have absolutely nothing against books which have these themes in them, however, they need to be tagged appropriately, so that customers know what they are getting. The main character in this book (a man) is married to another man, and there is enough references to this (that is totally unnecessary to the plot line) that I feel this should be tagged with this theme. I personally do not wish to listen to books with this theme, so I am going to return it.
Other than that, the plot line seemed good; the character development seemed pretty decent as well. The narrator did a phenomenal job, as usual.
If you're not bothered by LGBTQ themes, you'll probably really like this book.

What a ride
I honestly didn’t expect to be as enthralled and entertained as I was with this story. I’m a sucker for sci-fi, and this hit the spot. A very realistic take on future technology and they’re up and downsides. Definitely worth a listen. Not to mention the narrator did an amazing job.
There were elements that left me a bit confused, but for the most part, it was a great ride lol.

Great Police Thriller
Mind burn was a great sci-fi police thriller. I picked it up because of one of the authors, Rhett C. Bruno, and the narrator, Edoardo Ballerini. T. E. Bakutis is new to me. This did not disappoint! I'd love to see this as a series.

This is a great police procedural with spot on science backing...
Mind Burn is a science fiction police procedural with great world building! It has enough twisty turns to keep you guessing all the way through the book! In case that's not enough it'll make you want to learn how to be an IT coder without having to figure out what's goin on and skipping all the classroom histrionics... it absolutely breaks down what's happening in layman's terms.
And Man. Ohhhh Man that ending!!! I did not see that! You could've knocked me down with a feather!

Enjoyed
I got the book because it was read by Edoardo Ballerini and he was great as always. The story was a bit complicated for me to follow at first but as it went along it came together at the end. Fun Sci-Fi
