I’m hooked

I don’t normally review books as I go through so many. This one I hesitated as alien isn’t my thing, but got hooked in first chapter. Korum ! Yes please. I listened in a span of 2 days, the love story is out of this world (pun intended) . The characters are all unique and would love to delve more into them after this trilogy. Please write more continuation of other characters.

Overall a good series but I must admit I thought it was a bit too long. I was hooked at the beginning but at times there was way too much description of the way the krinars lived etc that I lost interest. I love world building I just thought it was a bit much. I may be the minority though.

Narration was pretty good.

Foreplay!

Seriously, did a man write this? Foreplay, foreplay, foreplay!!! These books are all about fantasy. No woman fantasizes about a guy just jamming his junk up in her. For me, the rage saves it. The threat of violence, without violence, is hot.

Amazing Narrator but...

Korum as he is one of the leading characters in this book is majorly flawed. I stopped at the beggining of second book. Overly domineering non-equalist disgusting pet owner he is, Korum made me wanna vomit throughout the book.

Enjoyable but....

The story was great but with only one voice for both the main characters sometimes it made it confusing to know who was talking or whose point of view it was being told in.

Loved this story

I loved this story!!! I enjoyed the twists and turns and the characters… I found it difficult to put it down. Just one more chapter and then I will do whatever. I hope you enjoy this read as well.

Anna Zaires is the best writer for romance.

I was put out at first because I was searching for interracial romance novels and didn’t feel, at first, that I could relate to the characters. I was pleasantly surprised and then totally obsessed with Krinar and it’s hot, dominant Korum. The fact that my nickname is Mia helped a bit more. It was the best romance novel I have ever read/listened to. The narrator Roberto Scarloto was the best narrator I’ve heard. I am very pleased with how down to earth and kind the writer and narrator are when I reached out to compliment. It may seem funny but there is a time in life where there is a before one incident and an after, how feelings about things change. There is a before this novel and the obsession afterward. I can’t imagine my life without this book. I’m even considering writing a fanfiction inserting my mixed race heritage and experiences in it.

Mia would be so much better if she was older.

The storyline is pretty cool and I would highly recommend anyone with an Audible Escape account to dive in :)

Book 1: cutesy, fluffy & a bit steamy
Book 2: More world-building which is great! Mia is clearly a 21-year-old (from the perspective of a 29-year-old) and I think 90% of her outbursts/miscommunications wouldn't happen had she simply been more mature. Korum, he's still Korum, but if you liked him at all in the first book you'll love him even more in the second. Mia makes me feel like an old woman who just wants to tell her to grow up and really look at the big picture.

I'll come back when I've wrapped up book 3.

Roberto Scarlato - I enjoy his narration far more just because he's amazing for Korum, the other narrator of the single book options (the female) is amazing..but her male voice never got me. In a dream world, they would both be voicing this series :(

I don’t know where to begin! I real enjoyed and loved this series! I feel like it can’t end and that we need more for the story to continue! So much potential yet! I have the story not as just listening but in full imagination mode. The story had such details that I could envision all of the Krinar and the technology with new nature❤️
Mia and Korum were amazing characters! So real with their emotions and personality.
Mia was real with her conflicting emotions. Although I sometimes found her attitude and questions not logical to the situation, overall I liked her personality and especially that she was not the typical beauty you find in a lot of romance books, it made it feel real somehow.
Korum, O M G I just love him! He is so complex and so intelligent yet not as evil as he could have been! I have this image in my mind of his curious looks and eyes and his behaviors❤️ his love was so intense and pure in every sense. The way he was so understanding of Mia and didn’t make her feel dumb was heart melting!
I also have to say the imagination that went on in this story was just pure magnificence💗 The way evolution and human conflicts and solutions to the Krinar conflicts, the elders, friends and families was just so amazing! The houses and plants with nano tech! ( Sign me up for a Krinar world and boy lols)

Wow.

Long, but worth it. Really liked this SyFy romance. There were bits that were redundant, but liked the characters and the story was unique. I would recommend this audible book.
