Love this Cook Book

For health reasons, I needed to go on the Mediterranean diet and researched many books. This has been the best purchase I have made in a long time. I am no chef, in fact, I’m a complete numpty when cooking, but the recipes in this book are perfect for the beginner. I’ve made quite a few of them and enjoyed every one. Well written with MANY delicious and easy recipes. Recommend.

Good for Longevity

I'm aware that the Mediterranean diet is a good one for longevity. The author has done a fabulous job explaining what you need to do to follow this amazing healthy diet, as well as giving many recipes for doing so. You'll undoubtedly be healthier if you get this book and follow the author's suggestions!

This is an exciting journey and I am so happy to have this book as a guide. I have tried most of the dishes in the book and they are delicious as the taste is still intact.This is a ready to use book for anyone ready to start a weight loss journey.

What I like best about this book is how each section is clearly shown. I don’t need to play forward or back several times to get to the food or topic I want. What I like even more is how it is completely broken down to the littlest details. I am so looking forward to using this diet. I see myself already, with the help of this book, doing better in my health and wellness. Recommended!

It’s a lifestyle…

Love how the author emphasizes that the Mediterranean diet isn’t a diet per se, but a LIFESTYLE! We need to rid our vocabulary of the word diet… it isn’t just something to do for a little while, healthy eating is a lifestyle and a lifelong commitment. I also like that the author included references from actual peer-reviewed studies. I’ve been wanting a whole-life change for a while now, and couldn’t decide which healthy-eating route I was gonna go. All vegan? Oil free? Pescatarian? There’s a lot to ease through out there, but I think I found what’s going to work for me… this book!

Delicious Dieting!

The Mediterranean Diet has been kicking around the internet for a few years now, but I was recommended this specific audiobook by a friend. It did not disappoint!
It really is a turnkey solution for the Mediterranean diet. There's a history section, a breakdown by food category, scientific research, and even a 30-day meal plan. Everything logically follows and appears well-researched. The author did their homework here.
This audiobook is 10x better than any dieting book I've read. buy this audiobook!

Great book

As stated in the book, this isn’t a diet, it’s a way of life. Eating fresh products that are seasonally available is some of what the Mediterranean diet describes. It was fascinating to learn some historical context about how these diets evolved in the respective countries bordering the Mediterranean and what benefits are offered through this way of living. Lots of manageable recipes are also included!

New Year Planning

I picked up this book to start evaluating different diets to develop an action plan for the new year to get back to healthy. After listening to this audiobook I am sold on the Mediterranean diet. This is the only book you will need as it covers the benefits of the diet, what to shop for, recipes and so much more. Highly recommend this book if you are considering a diet change for the new year.

Healthy weight loss

Understanding more about the Mediterranean diet was one of the main goals in picking up this audiobook and it did not disappoint! I greatly appreciated the author's deep dive in the historical and medical context of why this context is so popular and benefits those in need of it. I also greatly enjoyed the transition into how, not only is this a diet that would help you medically and to lose weight, but as with all the major diets, it takes a lifestyle change, too. The narrator and author do a great job in walking you through the process and provide great insight along the way.
